Crucial Response Showcase Planned

The longest running European straightedge label, Crucial Response Records, is proud to present an exclusive showcase on Sunday July 1st at dB's in Utrecht, the Netherlands. The Defense (Spain), Commitment Crew (Sweden), One Voice (Belgium), Strike First (the Netherlands) and Birds of a Feather (the Netherlands) from the Crucial Response family will all come down to play this show. Special additions to the bill are our friends from Hoods Up (Germany).

This showcase is the record release party for One Voice and Commitment Crew. Expect limited versions of their new records, only available at this show. Birds of a Feather gives a preview of their upcoming album. They recorded new songs for their upcoming full length album and present an exclusive demo tape with 3 new songs. Furthermore, Crucial Response Records will be offering limited silkscreen editions of their releases. Also other distro's are expected to join the party.

Doors open at 3pm; show ends around 9pm. Damage is € 9.

AsIce Organizes ColdAsIce Festival

AsIce will be organising the first ever ColdAsIce Festival in the Easter weekend of 2006. This all will be held in Het Podium in Hoogeveen. You can already make a reservation for the festival at www.hetpodium.nl.

UK's Ninjafest Details

The annual Ninjafest hardcore extravaganza happens on October 22 and 23 at the camden Underworld in London. Bands so far confirmed are: October 22 - Blacklisted, 86 Mentality, Restless Youth, Tension, Seventh Cross, Abusive Action, Solid Ground, Strike First, Teamkiller, Abandon Ship and Betray These Angels. October 23 - Champion, Canaan, Out To Win, Blue Monday, Go It Alone, Stout, The Setup, Special Move, Awoken, Engage, Injury Time and Gorillaxunit.

Reflections Co-Organizes Arnhem Hardcore Meeting

After a succesful first hardcore-festival in the spring of 2004, which was part of the 20th anniversary of the legendary Goudvishal, Reflections Records has teamed up again with the venue and decided to go for a second edition. Confirmed bands include: Converge, Planes Mistaken For Stars, Eighteen Visions, Hopesfall, Razor Crusade, Panic (exclusive reunion show!), Good Clean Fun (their only European show in 2005), Sex Positions, No Turning Back, and Strike First. More bands will be confirmed in the next couple of days.

The festival, which takes place on Saturday the 26th of March at the Musis Sacrum in Arnhem (which was also the home of our first edition), will feature 15 bands, 2 stages. A special website for the festival www.arnhemhardcoremeeting.nl will be launched January 21. In the meantime also check the venue's website www.goudvishal.nl.
