Dutch viking/death metal act Slechtvalk debuts a new song and lyric video titled "We Are", taken from the upcoming new album "Where Wandering Shadows and Mists Collide", which will be out in stores December 20th, 2016.

Dutch viking metal act Slechtvalk, featuring ex-Heidevolk vocalist Jesse Middelwijk, released a preview clip for the band's upcoming release "Where Wandering Shadows And Mists Collide." The album was produced, mixed and mastered by Lasse Lammert and is expected for release in the first half of this year.

Dutch metal band Slechtvalk has announced that their new album, "A Forlorn Throne," will be released on May 31st. The band will host an official release show at 'De Kelder' in Amersfoort (NL) on May 28th. Support acts will be ELEXORIEN and MYRKVAR.
Slechtvalk went to Sweden to record the new album with producer/engineer Johan "the ant" Örnborg at Studio Mega. The album was mixed and mastered by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street. The cover artwork was designed by Raymond Swanland. The album also features guest vocals by Erik Grawsiö from Manegarm on 3 songs.

Slechtvalk has signed a record deal with Whirlwind Records. The band will be releasing a 10 year anniversary CD in the near future, containing a compilation of old songs and some new. More details about this release will be revealed soon. In the winter months Slechtvalk will enter the studio to work on a new album for a 2010 release.
The line-up for the Fear Dark Festival taking place on May 15, 2009 in De Kelder in Amersfoort (Holland) is now confirmed:
SLECHTVALK (nl) - viking/black metal
MY SILENT WAKE (uk) - doom metal
MISERATION (s) - death metal
WILLOW'S WHISPER (b) - gothic metal
Tickets are 12,00 euros and are available at the doors. Doors open at 19:30 and the first band takes the stage at 20:00 hour.
Dutch viking-black metal band Slechtvalk has been confirmed once again for Germany's Fear Dark Festival. The band has not played many live gigs, so this is a great chance to catch them live.
Previously confirmed is Swedish death-metal band Miseration, featuring vocalist Christians Älvestam (ex-Scar Symmetry) and guitarist Jani Stefanovic (Mehida, ex-Sins Of Omission). They will start their upcoming European tour at our Fear Dark Festival. Their tour will end at Legacy Fest in Germany.
The Fear Dark Festival takes place on May 15, 2009 in De Kelder, Amersfoort.
One more Fear Dark Festival has been announced for this year. On May 31, 2008 Rock City in Uster, Switzerland will be turned into a great metal party. The Italian power-metal sensation Thy Majestie and Holland's leading black-viking metalband Slechtvalk will perform, together with support. More details will follow soon.
As previously reported, the other Fear Dark Festival in 2008 is set for June 1 in Stuttgart, Germany with Eluveitie and Endstille as a co-headliners. Other bands that are playing include Thy Majestie, Slechtvalk and Finsterforst.

Slechtvalk has succesfully recorded their third full-length album, called 'At The Dawn Of War'. On the 6th of november 2004 the also recorded their first DVD. Both will be released in a limited 500 copies edition combined CD/DVD digipack. After that they will be sold seperately. Covers of both versions will drawn by the famous Belgian artist Kris Verwimp.
