Severed Part Ways with Vocalist
Severed have issued the following update regarding the stepping down of their vocalist on their Myspace page:
"So here's the deal. We start by asking everyone to congratulate Anthony, who in the last year has become a full fledged adult. He has his business in order, having started his career and is happy about it-and very well should be - he deserves it. For this I am proud of my brother. I remember going to him in high school outside of math class with Justin and asking him "Yo dude, wanna be in our band?", pretty much cuz he was the one of the only other kids who was into metal...who knew? Since then we've hit up other states, played with a load of national acts, and put out a bitchin cd($10 - buy it fuckers!). But that's just the beginning; a way toooo long beginning, but hey, we're learning the hard way. With that said, we are ready to take over the world, and being on the same page of the "World Domination" book is vital. Our comrade Anthony isn't going to be able to partake in said activity, for his priorities take him down the
proverbial "other path" and we obviously would not dare ask him to reconsider otherwise. So Severed will have to continue this adventure without him." More...

Severed Post Final Mixes of 3 Songs Off New Album
Severed post three new songs on their myspace page. Their singer posted a msg on myspace describing each song:
"The Merchant = based on the Resident Evil 4 character who sells shit!!! Ultra high notes and super euro chorus ending!!
Take Down the PLague = Enhanced guitar parts and remixed for extra stupendous fun! = its about a Plague ridden village where the doctor flown in on his good heart ends up getting infected and goes mad - he infects the rest and the world is never the same!
Seasons Shall Mend The Pain = super harmony! Not relating to zombies at all! But sometimes you think of giving things up like people and what it would be like ~ then u realize = u'd get over it!!

Crematorium Confirmed For L.A. Murderfest 2.0
Prosthetic Records' CREMATORIUM have been confirmed for The Los Angeles Murderfest Version 2.0, to be held Feb. 18 & 19, 2006 at The Knitting Factory in Los Angeles. The L.A. murdercore kings will be playing alongside local and national acts such as A Dying Memory, Anal Blast, Avoid Serious Injury, BlowYourFuckingBrainsOut, Cerberus, xDEATHSTARx, Disgorge, Dr. Know, Embrace The End, EveryManForHimself, Gatekeeper, Gaza, Horsemen Of The Apocalypse, Immortality, Impaled, Infamy, Insatanity, IveBeenShot, Job For A Cowboy, Kill The Client, Life Or Death, Meat Shits, Nocturnal Altar, Phobia, Sepsism, Severed, Sinful Bliss, Springbreak, Strong Intention, Suicide Silence, The Dolemite Project, The Faceless, To The Pain, Warriors, Where Eagles Dare, and With Passion.
