Grimner Posts New Video Online
Following their recent successful raid on the UK, including a triumphant appearance at Hammerfest, Swedish Viking horders Grimner has released a video for their latest single, "Dödens Dans." You can check it out below. Speaking about the video, the band stated:
"Brothers and sisters! Today we want to present a song to you from our latest album ‘Vanadrottning’. It is called ‘Dödens Dans’ (Dance of Death), and it tells of an old challenge, in Sweden called ‘holmgång’. In ancient Nordic times, it was a way to solve disputes, and this solution was simply single combat. The winner would have the right to whatever he may have wanted from the loser, but if this challenge was ever denied by somebody, they would be marked as a niding (outcast). It is a fast-paced and energetic song, filled with melodies of old.

Grimner Issues New Music Video "Mokrets Hem"
Swedish Viking metal act Grimner released a new music video/single "Mokrets Hem." The song is taken from the latest effort "Frost Mot Eld" which is out now via Despotz Records.
The video for "Mokrets Hem" ("The Home of Darkness" in English), which can be viewed below, was directed by Magnus Ewald and features members of the band drinking around a bonfire in the mountains in Uppsala, sharing folklore stories while a viking (actor Markus Christensen) wanders through caves and a wooded area before being chased down and killed by the "folklore monster" (played by Zakk Elfwing).

Grimner Streaming New Track "Midgård Brinner"
Swedish folk/viking metal act Grimner is streaming the new track "Midgård brinner" over at Pure Grain Audio at this location (also in the player below). The track appears on the new album "Frost Mot Eld," set to drop March 26th via Despotz Records.

Grimner Releases New Music Video, Announces Album
Sweden folk/viking metal act Grimner will issue the new album "Frost Mot Eld" on March 26th via Despotz Records. The album is the band's third full length release and follow up to the 2014 sophomore full length "Blodshymner."
As a first taste, the band is streaming the new track "Eldhjärta," which can be heard in the player below.
