Ninja was formed in 1986, broke up in 1992, reformed briefly in 1997 and then again with a new lineup in 2014. The band issued three full length albums before the 2014 reformation. In December 2014, the band self-released the fourth record "Into the Fire."
Apart from the new album, Ninja's three previous albums will be released in a high-quality CD edition by Pure Steel/Karthago Records. The band represents traditional German metal with good songwriting. The sound calls to mind W.A.S.P. with a pinch of ACCEPT and AC/DC.
