10th Annual NEMHF Details Revealed
This year will mark the tenth anniversary of the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, the largest and most successful metal festival in the United States.
This year’s show, presented by ESP, Randall, EMG, and exclusive magazine presenter Metal Maniacs Magazine, will take place the weekend of April 25-27 at the Palladium in Worcester, Mass., its home since its inception. Sumerian Records will sponsor the “Summer Slaughter Tour” second stage.
The New England Metal and Hardcore Festival will present Gigantour featuring Megadeth, In Flames, Children of Bodom, Job for a Cowboy and High on Fire on Friday night. Saturday will be headlined by Dimmu Borgir, Shadows Fall, and Behemoth. Ministry, Meshuggah, and Nevermore will close out the festival on Sunday night.

Animosity Recruiting Fans For Video Shoot
Animosity will be shooting a music video on Saturday, December 29th at the Knockout in San Francisco, CA. Here's the official word:
"Animosity is going to be shooting a music video and want you to come be in it. It is going to be at the Knockout in San Francisco (details below). They need you to come out, get weird and be a part of this monuMETAL event. Everyone is welcome (21+) and the bar will be open durinng filming, so bring friends and be prepared to rage. There is only a short window of time that the bar is taken over, so please be on time [7pm]."
Arsonists Get All The Girls Schedule Benefit Show
Santa Cruz, California-based progressive hardcore/death metal band ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS has scheduled a benefit show for the family of its late bassist, Patrick Mason, who passed away on November 30. The concert will take place on December 28 at The 418 in Santa Cruz and will feature performances by KNIGHTS OF THE ABYSS, ELYSIA, ANIMOSITY and ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS.

ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS released its debut offering, "Hits From The Bow", on Process Records in 2006. They went on to tour the U.S. and shared the stage with bands such as THROUGH THE EYES OF THE DEAD, THE NUMBER 12 LOOKS LIKE YOU, ED GEIN and HEAVY HEAVY LOW LOW. The group previously described itself as "the derailment of a gay train on its way to straight town."
After signing with Century Media Records, ARSONISTS GET ALL THE GIRLS released a new record, "The Game of Life", which was recorded with Zack Ohren of Castle Ultimate (ANIMOSITY, LIGHT THIS CITY).

Animosity vocalist, Leo Miller, provides a brief update, “The tour is going TOTALLY SWEET. We have just over a week of dates left and the past month has been ideal. Thanks to everyone who has come out to see us and picked up the new album ANIMAL. There is new merch on our online store and we are looking forward to next month’s Mexico tour.”

The End Announce More Tour Dates With Gwar
THE END will join GWAR for a November US tour, filling out The End’s tour schedule through the remainder of the year.
The End will be on the road for the next three months consecutively starting today, September 28th, as they join BETWEEN THE BURIED & ME, HORSE THE BAND, and ANIMOSITY for a five-week US tour.
Immediately following, The End and HORSE THE BAND will join GWAR on their month-long headlining tour. Also joining in on for the later-half of the tour is 3 INCHES OF BLOOD.
The End will then join heavyweights CHIMAIRA in December on their US tour. A complete listing of confirmed The End tour dates can be found below with more to be announced soon.

Animosity Head To Europe To Tour With Converge
Animosity will be heading overseas for a month long tour with Converge and Rise and Fall. Starting on June 15th in Germany, the tour will hit some of the summer’s biggest metal festivals including Summer Blast, Never Say Die/Heat Seeker Fest, Pressure Fest and Hellfest.
Animosity vocalist, Leo Miller comments on touring with metal legends, Converge: “In a couple of days we will travel overseas to Europe for the first time as a band. Geographically, this is a huge milestone for our band, but also because we get to tour with one of the most influential bands of our community, Converge. We are extremely excited to have this amazing opportunity to see the world and share our music alongside such an awesome band. I hope Europe is ready for the titty.”

More Bands Confirmed For New England Metal Fest
Polish and Dutch death metal bands BEHEMOTH and GOD DETHRONED have been added to the lineup of the ninth annual New England Metal and Hardcore Festival, presented by ESP Guitars & Basses and Krank Amps on Friday, April 27 and Saturday, April 28.
Additional confirmations include 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, DESPISED ICON, ABIGAIL WILLIAMS, DAATH, LIGEIA, IMPIOUS, 3, and EPICUREAN.
The festival will join forces with Metal Blade this year to celebrate the label’s 25th anniversary. The main and side stages will both exclusively feature Metal Blade bands on Saturday, topped off by a once-in-lifetime performance that will bring together musicians from Metal Blade’s stellar roster of bands.

New England Metal and Hardcore Fest Lineup
The lineup has been announced for this year's New England Metal and Hardcore Festival. The event will be headlined by black metal act Dimmu Borgir and feature performances from Bury Your Dead, Kylesa, The Devil Wears Prada, 100 Demons, Nora, The Human Abstract, Death Before Dishonor, Dead Hearts, Unearth, Shai Hulud and many more.

Converge World Tour Dates, DVD Reissue Out Now
After being out of press for a LONG time, CONVERGE "The Long Road Home" DVD is now available once again. The DVD is now a Double DVD set and comes packaged in a standard amary case, but includes all of the same classic CONVERGE footage from the previous verision. Animosity's Itinerary For The Near Future
Animosity has an extremely busy 2007. The band will head to Mexico for the end of March to perform as part of the Monterrey Hardcore Festival, followed by a short rush of dates heading out to Massachusetts where the band will record their upcoming full length entitled "Animal". The album is scheduled to be recorded at Godcity Studios with engineer Kurt Ballou (Converge). Following the recording, comes the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival which will kick off the bands first headlining tour ever which has been dubbed "BRUTALITOUR" with support from As Blood Runs Black, The Faceless, and Beneath The Massacre. Almost immediately after Brutalitour, Animosity will team up with Converge for a six week European tour.

Animosity To Record New Album In April
Now home following their tour with Napalm Death et al, Animosity has begun work on their next album, titled "Animal." In April the group is scheduled to enter Godcity studios in Salem, MA with Kurt Ballou to record a new album for Black Market Activities.
