The lineup for this year's Rock am Ring and Rock Im Park festivals are shaping up quite nicely as the organizers have announced some more additions. Korn, Marilyn Manson, Dragonforce and Killswitch Engage have all been confirmed to perform at the festivals, as have the returning Limp Bizkit. Rock Am Ring will be held in the town of Nurburgring and Rock Im Ring will be held in Nurnberg with the shows being held over June 5th-7th.

Pilgrimz Wins "Best Video" At Danish Metal Awards
Danish metal band Pilgrimz won the category "Best Video" for their "Shake A Feather" music video at the 2008 Danish Metal Awards, in Copenhagen, on Saturday November 15th.
The band was also nominated in the categories "Best Live Band," which was won by Volbeat and "Best Debut."
Their full length album, "Boar Riders," released in Europe on June 23rd 2008, is a combination of Scandinavian metal, dirty rock 'n' roll and modern hardcore. The record was produced and mixed by the magicians, Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Mercenary) and Tue Madsen (The Haunted, Sick Of It All).

Blabbermouth.net reports: "Maybelenne i Hofteholder", the new video from Danish metal rock 'n' rollers VOLBEAT, can be viewed below. The song comes off the group's third studio album, "Guitar Gangsters & Cadillac Blood", which is scheduled for release on September 1 via Mascot Records. The follow-up to "Rock The Rebel / Metal The Devil" features 14 new tracks, including a SOCIAL DISTORTION cover as a bonus cut on all editions. Seven of the songs share a common lyrical theme, which will be continued on future records, and the artwork is also based on this storyline. Danish metal act Volbeat have posted the following message:
"Last week it was announced on various websites that VOLBEAT were to tour the UK with STUCK MOJO in October 2008.
"These UK dates will not include VOLBEAT. VOLBEAT were never asked to play the UK with STUCK MOJO and the dates were announced without our consent.
"At this very moment we are laying the final touch on what is to be our third album, currently slated for a pan-European release in September. We look forward to returning to the UK in conjunction with this release."
