Seventeen More Bands Added To Download 2009

The organizers of Britain's Download Festival has announced a urther seventeen bands for this years edition of the event. The festival will now see appearances from Hollywood Undead, Steel Panther, Trigger The Bloodshed, Lauren Harris, Hexes, Hunting The Minotaur, Japanese Voyeurs, White Man Kamikaze, Loverman, Black Spiders, General Fiasco, Sacred Mother Tongue, The 69 Eyes, Dear Superstar, Pulled Apart By Horses, Violent Soho and Brides.

The organizers of Britains Download Festival has announced a string of new confirmations for this years event. Backyard Babies Post Video Interview Online

Austria's Mulatschag.TV has posted a three-minute interview with BACKYARD BABIES members Dregen (real name: Andreas Tyrone Svensson; lead guitar, backing vocals) and Nicke Borg (vocals, guitar). Watch the footage here.

BACKYARD BABIES is currently recording its sixth album with producer Jacob Hellner, who has previously worked with RAMMSTEIN, among other bands. According to Dregen, "We have written the strongest songs BACKYARD BABIES ever have written. And we will bang it on tape like it's the last recording ever. This album WILL have it all. You will laugh. You will cry. You will dance. You'll get high. I can't wait until you can hear it!"

BACKYARD BABIES released its fifth studio full-length album, "People Like People Like People Like Us", in April 2006 via Century Media Records. A video for the song "Dysfunctional Professional" can be viewed below.

Backyard Babies To Kick Off North American Tour

Fresh Liquor And Poker Music signing, the Backyard Babies are returning to North America for a headlining summer tour with labelmates the Black Halos, kicking off at the NXNE Conference in Toronto, June 9th at Funhaus. The Babies will be supporting their newest release, "Tinnitus" on California-based Liquor and Poker Music.

Entombed, Nasum Set for P3 Popstad Fest

In Flames, Entombed, Nasum and Backyard Babies have all be confirmed for the upcoming P3 Popstad 2004 Festival in Jönköping, Sweden. The show is set to take place on February 13 and 14, 2004.

According to Swedishmetal.net, the Swedish national radio station P3 will broadcast many of the performances live during the two days festival. More details about this will be presented at the P3 Popstad website in January. You can check out the website at www.sr.se/p3/popstad/04/.
