Society's Finest Recruits Ex-Zao Drummer
Former Zao drummer Jesse Smith has now joined Society's Finest. Here's a statement from the group:
"The newest addition to the fold is an old friend of the band. Jesse Smith made his name as the beat machine behind metal powerhouse Zao and will be playing drums on the new record. Now, with a new perspective on the world and music itself, Society's Finest is poised to make its next move. Currently writing and in production for their next release, the band is more focused than ever. They are currently locked away in hammering out songs that will become the sum of a band who have influenced many of today's biggest metal acts."
Society's Finest Put Tour On Hold
Society's Finest have cancelled the remainder of their shows for this year. Instead, they will focus on writing their next full-length (their first since 2000), which they plan to record in December. In early-2006 the band will once again resume touring.
Society's Finest Tour Dates
Society's Finest, Anam Cara, War Of Ages, and Twelve Gauge Valentine will be touring in late-May and June. The tour will help raise money for friend Billie Messer, who recently died of leukemia. More dates will be announced, but here's the latest:

Society's Finest Drop Off Of Reflux Tour
SOCIETY'S FINEST, unfortunately, must drop off of the scheduled Reflux tour for December.Here's a statement from the band. "Unfortunately we had to drop off our tour with Reflux and others for the first 2 weeks of December. We've been on the road since July and as of right now we are phsyically and financially exhausted. We'd like to apologize to anyone that planned on coming out to see us on this tour. We just need to take care of some things before we are able to be on the road again. We will be doing the hxcmp3.com tour with our good friends GODS as well as many other great bands and we look forward to seeing you all then. We've been very busy working on new material on the road and we'll be debuting yet another new song on the hxcmp3.com tour. So come on out and see some amazing bands and some brand new material that we've been writing for months. We love you all and we can't thank you enough for all of your love and support."
