Background
Evergreen Terrace is a 5 piece melodic hardcore band out of Jacksonville, Florida. The band consists of Andrew Carey on vocals, Craig Chaney on guitar and backing vocals, Jason Southwell on bass, Christopher Brown on drums and Joshua James on guitar.
Evergreen Terrace's sound is brutal yet mixed with passion, melody, and heavy breakdowns and has been compared to the likes of Poison The Well, 18 Visions, Indecision and even Metallica. Evergreen Terrace released two full-length albums and one split e.p. in their frist 4 years. Following their reputation for intense live shows, a word of mouth helped Evergreen Terrace rise to the forefront of the underground hardcore scene as have supporting slots with other established bands such as Every Time I Die and Norma Jean.

Evergreen Terrace Announces Album Title, Tour
Evergreen Terrace has announced the title of their new album. "Sincerity is an Easy Disguise in this Business." The guys will enter the studio in February, with a tentative early summer release slated.

Casey Jones Signs To Eulogy Recordings
Jacksonville, FL straight edge hardcore band Casey Jones has officially signed with Eulogy Recordings. Featuring members of Evergreen Terrace and xTimetoDiex, the group has previously released a CD with Indianola Records and a split EP with Traitor. Look for their Eulogy debut to hit stores in mid-2005.
Norma Jean Scheduling Studio Time, Tour Dates
Norma Jean are currently scheduling studio dates to record their next full-length, entitled "O' God The Aftermath," which will hit stores in March 2005 through Solid State Records. Eulogy Owner Co-Founds Hand Of Hope Records
Eulogy Recordings owner John Wylie and Christopher Brown of Evergreen Terrace have recently formed a new record label called Hand Of Hope Records. And this past week the Miami-based label solidified an exclusive distribution deal with Victory Records. Here's what Victory's Tony Brummel says about the deal:
"John and I have known one another for many years and have always wanted to do something together. I always want passionate music people around me that have a gift for nurturing and finding new talent. John and Chris have that gift."
The label's debut release will be from Evergreen Terrace, which should hit stores in early-summer.

Evergreen Terrace Launch Online Player
Eulogy Recordings' EVERGREEN TERRACE are release an album of covers. Scheduled for release February 17th, "Writer's Block" will include covers of great songs orignally by NOFX, Operation Ivy, U2, Smashing Pumpkins, and many more. EVERGREEN TERRACE has launched an online player featuring streaming versions of their Smashing Pumpkins and NOFX covers.

Evergreen Terrace Tour Info, Local Dates
Eulogy Recordings' EVERGREEN TERRACE are currently planning out a number of tours, including a stint down under to Australia.
From January 16 through February 7, the boys plan to take to the road alongside hardcore favorites STRETCH ARM STRONG as well as BELOVED and COMEBACK KID. In March 2004, EVERGREEN TERRACE will join the very few hardcore bands who've made a visit to Australia, spending ten days covering the island continent.
