Code Of Silence Offers Free Download Of New Track

Scotland's melodic metal act Code of Silence, featuring Brazilian vocalist Gus Monsanto (Symbolica/Ex-Adagio), is streaming the new track "Tame the Tempest" and offering the track as a free download (see below or go to this location). The track appears from the band's debut LP "Dark Skies Over Babylon," which is out now in Europe and set for an April 9, 2013 via Mausoleum Records. A music video for the song "Sky Is Falling Down" can be seen over at this location.

The track started out as a piece written by guitarist Ben Randall and ended up a collaboration with Paul Logue (Eden’s Curse) and Pete Newdeck (Eden’s Curse/Tainted Nation).

Code Of Silence Posts New Music Video

Scottish based melodic metal act Code of Silence, launched by Brazilian born vocalist Gus Monsanto (Adagio/Symbolica/Lord of Mushrooms), posted a new music video for the song "Sky is Falling Down." Written by Paul Logue (Eden's Curse) and bassist James Murray, "Sky Is Falling Down" is the first single from the bands full-length debut, "Dark Skies Over Babylon", which is described in the label press release as "a grandiose thematic album based upon the tales of the legendary Knights Templar during the period of the Crusades." The album is scheduled for release on February 25th in Europe and April 9th in North America via Mausoleum Records.

The four minute composition about the legendary Knights Templar focuses on the protagonists experiences and thoughts, in particular, what it meant in regards to his personal sacrifice and chosen life path.

The video was filmed in the derelict Lansdowne Parish Church in Glasgow, Scotland, on a freezing cold December day, the video was captured by Director MJ Dixon of Mycho Pictures.

Adagio/Symbolica Vocalist Launches Code Of Silence

Brazilian born vocalist Gus Monsanto (Adagio/Symbolica/Lord of Mushrooms) has launched a new band based in Scotland called Code of Silence. The band features former Power Quest guitarist Ben Randall and Falloch master musician Scott McLean on keyboards. The debut LP will be entitled "Dark Skies Over Babylon" and is scheduled to drop on January 23 in Japan via Rubicon Music, February 25 in Europe and April 9 in North America via Mausoleum Records.
