La Paz Re-Forms With Singer Doogie White

Scottish hard rock band La Paz has re-formed since splitting in 1988 after a record deal had fallen through. The band has recorded a new album entitled "Granite." The band reunited with its original singer Doogie White, who now fronts both Cornerstone and the legendary U.K. band Tank.

The reformation happened after DJ Tom Russell of 96.3 Rock Radio called Doogie White and asked him if he would do some acoustic numbers at The Garage in Glasgow for Rock Radio's Birthday Bash in January 2008. Doogie agreed and asked La Paz guitarist Chic McSherry to play guitar. The band started to rehearse and decided it was time to create a new LP. The new incarnation is called Doogie White & La Paz.

"Granite" is scheduled for release on February 13, 2012 (EU) and March 6, 2012 (North America) through Metal Mind Records.
