Vomit Forth Releases New Music Video

Connecticut-based Northeast death metal powerhouse Vomit Forth has just released their new song and video for "Carnivorous Incantation" today via Century Media Records. You can check it out below.

"Carnivorous Incantation is somewhat of a self-reflective song," states Vomit Forth vocalist Kane Gelaznik about the track. "It's about the effects of abuse on our psyche. Abuse begets abuse like some horrible spell cast on us all. The song is a way of trying to externalize, understand, and move past trauma. This video is intentionally unnerving and spastic. We wanted the video to stick with you because of the subject matter of the song. That's a big reason we decided to go with 8498. I hope this helps victims of abuse of any kind to move past their trauma." More...

Lost Society Shares "Stitches" Music Video

Finnish modern metal squad Lost Society recently shook the scene with "112," the first single from their upcoming album "If The Sky Came Down," set to be released on September 30th via Nuclear Blast Records.

With new track "Stitches" the band delivers a heavy pounding anthem for any modern metalhead out there, while addressing serious mental health issues.

Front man Samy Elbanna stated about the song:
"Chapter 5 continues, and we’re heading deeper inside the human mind.
Stitches talks about something that is more than familiar for so many people. The fact that no matter how hard you try to mask your traumas and past scars, they always find a way of haunting you until you come head to head with them all. Sometimes you just have to pull out your stitches and let all the blood and hurt come out, before you can finally start healing."

He continued about the video:
"Vita Pictura has once again delivered a true masterpiece. Once again the intensity and true anguish of the track gets an incredible visual representation, and the viewers will definitely feel what this song is all about. The video has us in scenes of near insanity, but also in our most free state. Just as the lyric says, we feel trapped by our past, until we rip off the last remaining stitches to let it all out and realise we’re not alone." More...

The album was recorded, produced and mixed and mastered by our very own Chris Kreutzfeldt."

The album will be available as Digipak [limited edition], Black Single LP, Crystal Clear with Gold Single LP [limited to 500 units, Mailorder + Wholesale exclusive], Gold + Black Marbled Single LP [limited to 500 units, USA exclusive], Crystal Clear with Red + Black Splatter Single LP [limited to 300 units, bandshop exclusives] and on all streaming platforms. King's X Debuts First New Music In 14 Years

The legendary King’s X, comprised of dUg Pinnick, Ty Tabor & Jerry Gaskill, are pleased to announce the release of their 13th studio album "Three Sides Of One" on the 2nd September 2022. With the announcement comes the first new music from the band in 14 years, with the release of the album’s heavy first single "Let It Rain." Listen to the track below.

Of the new album, dUg Pinnick comments: "When I think of it, King’s X feels like a couple of old best friends coming together, shooting the shit, and having a good time, it’s instinctual. When I would listen to demo tapes of Jerry and Ty for the record, it gave me a great perspective on how blessed I am to be in King’s X. What they did on Three Sides of One sounded so good. For as familiar as it is, it’s like I’m in a new band."

Ty adds: "This time, we sat around, listened to each other’s ideas, and would collectively say, ‘Let’s work on that’. It was the most enjoyable album I’ve personally ever recorded in my entire life, period."

Jerry continues: "I’ll cherish what we did in my heart forever. Everything lined up perfectly." More...

Karl Sanders Unveils New Animated Video

Nile mastermind and multi-instrumentalist Karl Sanders recently announced that the subterranean slumber of his Eastern-ambient Saurian series has finally ceased with the impending release of its dark third chapter, "Saurian Apocalypse," out July 22, 2022 via Napalm Records.

After revealing the album's ominous first single, "The Sun Has Set On The Age Of Man," featuring a contextual acoustic guest solo by guitar virtuoso Rusty Cooley, Sanders returns with the cinematic second single, "Skull Fuck Ritual (Skull Breach Edition)." The score-like track begins with a cautionary chime before marching drums make way for eerie tribal voices and Middle Eastern-inspired leads on uniquely curated, exotic instruments. Its haunting aura inspires a calming yet foreboding look into the Saurian universe.

Witness the track for the first time today alongside another mind-bending animated music video.

Karl Sanders says about "Skull Fuck Ritual (Skull Breach Edition)":
"'Skull Fuck Ritual' was one of the earlier songs written for Saurian Apocalypse and it set the tone for much of the recording that followed. This song has a slow, hypnotic, ancient ritualistic vibe that will softly caress and then crack open your skull for Necromantic Carnal Communion with the Ancients. Please don’t listen to this track while driving or operating heavy machinery." More...

Dynazty Shares "Natural Born Killer" Video

Fans have been patiently awaiting the band’s upcoming magnum opus, but this summer, your wait is finally over: August 26, 2022 will see Swedish melodic metal force Dynazty release their brand new album, entitled "Final Advent," via AFM Records!

As previously-released, first album singles already proved, the Final Advent will mark the band’s most cohesive, imaginative, complex and at the same time most homogeneous album to date in Dynazty’s over 10-year career. Today, the Swedes have shared a brand new video clip for the epic track "Natural Born Killer," directed by Patric Ulleaus of Revolver Film Company in Gothenborg, who already worked with acts such as In Flames, Evergrey, or Amaranthe to name just a few. Says vocalist Nils Molin:

"Each song on the album has very individual lyrics. Some are short stories within a short song structure, such as ‘Yours’, whereas ‘Power Of Will’ or ‘Natural Born Killer’ have a message. ‘Natural Born Killer’ warns of the dangers of blindly obsessing about and idealizing another person." More...

Stryper To Release New Album Later This Year

The legendary heavy metal band Stryper have released a new single entitled "Rise To The Call" today (24th June). It is taken from a forthcoming album set for release in late 2022 that is produced by frontman Michael Sweet and maintains the heavy trend established over the group’s last few albums, albeit retaining their trademark melodies, virtuoso guitar playing and airtight rhythms.

Sweet states: "Although we have faced many obstacles over the past few years, we were somehow able to rise above everything that stood in our way and deliver what I believe to be our strongest release to date. Our new album encompasses everything that defines who we are: faith, guitar power, melodies and harmonies, consistency and longevity. We still have so much left to say musically and lyrically and this album showcases that. However, we couldn’t do it without our fans worldwide; those who have stood by us through it all, for almost 40 years! We are so honoured and blessed to be able to release our fourteenth studio album and to be making the best music of our lives/careers. Against all odds, we are still here."

Stryper are renowned for their distinctive brand of ‘heavenly metal’, extraordinary crossover success and longevity. The group ascended to prominence in the 1980s with Billboard Top 40 hits such as "Calling on You," "Honestly" and "Always There For You," maintaining a loyal global fanbase ever since. Their album sales exceed ten million, including 1986’s multi-platinum "To Hell With The Devil." The band also made history when notching up two videos simultaneously on the MTV Top 10 for their songs "Free" and "Honestly."

Renowned for their religious faith, the group's extraordinarily long career has made them so much more than just a ‘Christian metal’ band. Ultimately, they are a well respected outfit enjoying a late-career rebirth proving that their musical skills are still fully intact.

Almost four decades after emerging from the southern California nightclub scene, Stryper continues to record, tour and perform worldwide. With three original members - brothers Michael (lead vocals, guitar) and Robert Sweet (drums), plus Oz Fox (guitar) - along with their newest bandmate, the seasoned bassist Perry Richardson (formerly of Firehouse), they find themselves creating their finest, most powerful music ever.
