Thine Streams "Out Of Your Mind And Into A Void"

Thine, the enigmatic U.K. dark rock/prog quintet, has teamed up with Bloody-Disgusting.com to launch a new track, "Out of Your Mind and into a Void," taken from the band's upcoming "The Dead City Blueprint" album, due out May 13th on Peaceville.

Stream the new track below and let us know what you think in the comments section. "The Dead City Blueprint" can be pre-ordered now through iTunes here.

"The Dead City Blueprint," the follow-up to the 2002 album, "In Therapy," was recorded at Academy Studios (Paradise Lost, Anathema, My Dying Bride). The 10-track offering sees the band build upon the sublime hooks and dark existential themes from its previous two album releases.

Thine also comments: "We've been toiling away for over a decade on shaping our latest monster. It has been such a long and grueling process with countless collapses and relapses and a traumatic voyage on numerous levels, but this opus is finally in the flesh so to speak. It is an encapsulation of all those glorious tragedies we all find ourselves overcoming along the way, and essentially for us, a welcome catalyst. Sometimes the best art comes only through being unexpectedly forced through the city's darkest avenues, so hope you'll find us there." More...

Psychotic Gardening Releases New Music Video

Winnipeg, MB death metal band Psychotic Gardening has teamed up with Decibel Magazine to premiere the new music video "Origin of The Infection."

The clip can be seen below and was directed by guitarist Andrew Wiens in support of the forthcoming album "Hymnosis," set for release on May 13th. Andrew Wiens comments:

"The video for 'Origin of the Infection' is gritty and dark. It's the first time we've had a chance to produce a storyline into one of our videos, which is something we've wanted to do for a long time. It's basically a metaphor for some of the things we see in society. It's certainly open to some interpretation in terms of the implications of what it means and we hope it will provoke thought.

"We're really proud of this one from a number of perspectives. It was put together by my video production company with my trusty director of photography Sam Karney and I. We had a number of the guys from the band chip in and help during the production of it. It all came together in what we feel to be the best video we've done to date by far."

You can also see Psychotic Gardening live on these dates:
