Immininence Shares New Music Video

Swedish alternative metalcore outfit Imminence return with a video for their brand new hard-hitting single "Temptation" - out now via Arising Empire. The track follows the band's "Turn The Light On: Deluxe Edition" and marks their first new heavy music in almost two years. You can check out the video below.

"Releasing 'Temptation' is a statement. It’s a huge contrast to our recent, acoustic era, and we want to show that we can do what we want, when we want, and how we want. No one can ever predict the next step from us, not even ourselves.”#" - Harald Barrett (guitar).

"Temptation" follows Imminence's remarkably successful acoustic tour, "Live In Concert Halls," which granted the Swedish quintet a place in Eventim’s Official Charts as one of the fastest-selling tours in Germany. With no remorse or regrets, Imminence have now presented the heaviest and most extreme song in their history, accompanied by the biggest video production they have ever released.

Once again, the band teamed up with award-winning producer Henrik Udd (Architects, Bring Me The Horizon, At The Gates), who recorded, mixed, and mastered "Temptation" in Sweden. Directed by Pavel Trebukhin from TRE Films, the video for "Temptation" was recorded in Riga, Latvia, across a demanding seven-day shoot. The band takes us on an immense cinematic journey to accompany the single's colossal, dramatic sound, marking Imminence as a force to be reckoned with. More...

Acclaimed US quartet Seven Spires have released a brand new single entitled 'The Cursed Muse' today. The song sees the group seamlessly blending their love of heavy, symphonic and black metal into a mesmerising mixture that is fast, furious and catchy.

Sojourner Posts New Music Video Online

Melancholic black metal symbiosis Sojourner paves the way for another undeniably impressive next chapter with their outstanding new offering, the mini-EP "Perennial," to be released digitally and as a strictly limited ivory vinyl edition on June 4, 2021 via Napalm Records.

Today, the maestros of levitating bleakness have unveiled a captivating piece of art, the bewitching hymn "Perennial," featuring new vocalist Lucia Amelia Emmanueli for the first time. A visually inspiring music video captures the undeniably breathtaking beauty of untouched nature while Sojourner interweave angelic vocals and brutal growls, carried by a sonic layer of atmospheric black metal spliced with romantic folk influences.

Vocalist Emilio Crespo says about "Perennial":
"With wanting to revisit the old style of Sojourner I decided to tap into our roots on a lyrical level. 'Perennial' very much follows the thread of nature and it’s loss at our very own hands. This theme was prevalent in several songs on our first album so it made sense to revisit that. The vocals were meticulously worked on with Lucia to make sure that every single word worked in its tone and placement. Later, with Tom joining in on backing vocals at the very end, we truly felt happy with the end result. We are super excited about our future with our two new awesome members!" More...
