Interloper Shares "Search Party" Animated Video

Progressive heavy metal band ?Interloper have returned to present their debut, full-length album "Search Party" which will be released on June 11th via Nuclear Blast Records. Today, the band releases a music video for their second single and album title track "Search Party." Watch the animated music video created by Tony Simone of Zen Beast Media below.

Miles Dimitri Baker comments, "I am thrilled to have the title track for our record out! I feel it’s an amazing song to follow up the first single off this record. I think it does a great job of showing some of the diversity song to song that you can expect to hear on this record. 'Search Party' is one of my favourites on the record. I feel that the structure, melodies, and progressions in this tune were so beautifully done. I hope you all enjoy the title track off of our record Search Party as much as we do!"

Aaron Stechauner states, "This is my favorite Interloper song, and really my favourite song I’ve ever been involved with. I actually think it’s the best one on the album, alongside its sister song 'Cheshire.'

"When I listen to this song it doesn’t even feel like I’m listening to my own band… it feels like I’m listening to a song that one of my favorite bands wrote. One of those legend bands like Opeth or Gojira or Meshuggah. Not from a sound sense, more so from an emotional place. It’s kind of surreal to call it my own. That probably sounds a little dramatic or maybe even a bit pretentious, but it is a genuine feeling. I’m pretty anxious to see what people think about it because I probably care about people loving it as much as I do more than any other song."

Andrew Virrueta comments, "This song is one of my favourites off of the record. In my opinion, it's one of the tightest songs compositionally and this song, I think, sets the stage for the rest of the songs following its completion. 'Search Party' definitely sets a benchmark for me to meet throughout the rest of the album's writing process. I hope you all fall in love with this song like we did!" More...

Capra Releases New Music Video

Today (April 23rd), Capra has released their debut full-length, "In Transmission," via Blacklight Media / Metal Blade Records. For a preview of the album, a new video for the album track "Medusa" (produced by Matt Valentin, Tom Rosario, and Chase Guidroz) can be viewed below.

Predominantly tracked in December 2019, "In Transmission" was recorded with Jai Benoit (Golgothan, Father Rust), then mixed by Taylor Young (Nails, Twitching Tongues) and mastered by Brad Boatwright (Pig Destroyer, Integrity, Torche, Idle Hands). The only exceptions were "Mutt," "Transfiguration," and "Deadbeat Assailant," which were recorded during the pandemic lockdown, and required the members to go into the studio individually to lay down their parts rather than all going in together. The hardest aspect of making the record turned out to be naming it. "We went through a plethora of titles trying to find what we felt was the perfect name," Paramore says. "We've been sitting on the majority of this record since the end of 2019 and had originally hoped to send it out to the masses mid-summer, but thanks to the pandemic, all of that obviously got pushed back. In a lot of ways, this is a message we've been trying to send out that has essentially been stuck or lost in transmission for a year now, and we're all ready for that message to finally be received."

Capra guitarist Tyler Harper recently spoke to Metal Underground about "In Transmission," which can also be seen below. More...

Eleine Posts New Music Video Online

Eleine follow up their breakthrough album "Dancing In Hell", with the limited edition vinyl single "Die From Within", taken from the previous album. The single contains 4 tracks and besides from the album versions of "Die From Within", "The World We Knew" and the symphonic version of "Die From Within", this release also includes a symphonic version for "Story Untold" (from the album "Until The End"). The vinyl comes in three different colours, white/gold splatter, black/gold and regular black vinyl. To celebrate the release, the band has also made a music video for "Die From Within," which can be seen below.

"The loss of someone leaves such silence, even if you're screaming from the top of your lungs and it feels like your insides are being ripped out. As time goes by, you slowly realize that life will never be the same again. It often feels like no-one understands the pain you‘re in, and that just makes everything so much worse.

"'Die From Within' was born out of loss and depression. We all know what it‘s like when you take one step forward, and take two steps back when dealing with depression and grief. There are no words that instantly fix everything, but as you continue working on getting back to your daily life, you will get better little by little each passing day by finding the small things that comfort you and that keeps you pushing forward. Even if it feels impossible sometimes.

"'Die From Within' is for our lost loved ones, and for all of our fans out there dealing with any form of depression. We see you, we're with you and we love you."
