Warfist Debut New Music Video

Following up on the highly acknowledged 'Metal to the Bone' album, the inheritors of the best traditions of the teutonic metal, Warfist strike again with a new material recorded for a split release with the black/thrash metal horde Excidium. Both bands have prepared four tracks each for the release that is going to come out under the shared title 'Laws of Perversion & Filth'.

In collaboration with Riff TV and Studio W66, Warfist also prepared a video for the title track off the latest album, with guest appearances by Heretik Hellstorm (Ragehammer), Hellscreamaross (Offence) and Armagog (Throneum).

Methane Announce First Live Dates For 2018

Swedish metallers Methane will be kicking off 'Signed In Blood' European tour. Methane will be touring over the Baltic Sea to Estonia for 3 nights of groove metal along with Estonian groove metal band Intact and Finnish metallers StoneSoul. This leg of the band's 2018 'Signed In Blood' tour will also mark the 1 year anniversay of the release of Methane's 'The Devil's Own' album released on February 17, 2017.

Sault To Release New Album in March

Sault are planting the Seeds of Power in 2018. Dimmu Borgir have more vinyl reissues scheduled for the new year. On February 23rd, 2018 Nuclear Blast Records will reissue 1999’s “Spiritual Black Dimensions“, 2001’s “Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia” and 2005’s “Stormblåst“. New vinyl pressings of “For All Tid“, “Enthrone Darkness Triumphant” and “Death Cult Armageddon” will arrive earlier, hitting stores on December 22nd, 2017.

Drummer Herrick Missing Chimaira Reunion Show

Chimaira drummer Andols Herrick won’t be participating in the band’s forthcoming reunion show with their ‘classic’ era lineup. That show, billed as ‘Chimaira Christmas 15‘, will instead take place with drummer Austin D’Amond behind the drum kit. D’Amond previously played in Chimaira during their later lineups and is currently a member of DevilDriver.

Katatonia Going On "Short-Term Hiatus"

Katatonia announce that they will be going on a ‘short-term hiatus’ to ‘re-evaluate what the future holds for the band.’ They issued the below statement on that:

"Following our re-scheduled dates for the Baltics and Russia in Feb/March, due to recent issues and injury, it will mark the end of the touring cycle for ”The Fall of Hearts” and after much deliberation we have decided that we will put Katatonia on a short-term hiatus.

We need to take some time out to re-evaluate what the future holds for the band. Unfortunately this will affect the live dates in Norway, Germany, Spain and Poland, and we are deeply sorry for any inconvenience caused."
