Underoath To Embark On "Blind Obedience" Tour
Underoath have announced their 2023 US outing - The Blind Obedience Tour - with special guests Periphery and Loathe. The 24-city tour kicks off on March 3 at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD making stops across the US in Pittsburgh, PA, Las Vegas, NV, Oklahoma City, OK and more before wrapping up in Nashville, TN at Marathon Music Works on April 2.
Tickets go on sale starting Friday, December 16 at 10 AM, local time at underoath777.com.

Pop Evil Reveals New Album Details
Hard rock group Pop Evil have announced their new album, "Skeletons," due 17th March 2023 via MNRK Heavy, along with US, UK and EU tour dates. The band have also unveiled a video for their single "Paranoid (Crash & Burn)." You can check it out below.
The 11-tracks feature the already released singles: "Eye Of The Storm" landing at the #5 Most Played Song in 2022 on Billboard's Mainstream Rock Chart, and the most recent single, "Paranoid (Crash & Burn)." The album also includes guest performers such as Ryan Kirby from Fit for a King on 'Dead Reckoning' - a song brought to the table by bassist, Joey “Chicago” Walser - plus Blake Allison from Devour the Day providing guest vocals on 'Wrong Direction.'
Discussing the album, frontman Leigh Kakaty said, "This is about us as a band stripping everything down to the bones. It’s more up-tempo, it’s got bigger riffs, and we’re trying to capture the energy of our live show.
"But it’s also a positive message, I know it’s a morbid visual, but behind every skeleton, there’s a story and something worth talking about. Overall, it’s about looking at something in a positive way. And I’m excited for everyone to hear that." More...
Twilight Force Releases "Sunlight Knight" Video
There's little more than one month left until the release of Twilight Force's new opus "At The Heart Of Wintervale." Today however, the Swedes hope to thrill their fans by releasing the second single from their upcoming long-player. "Sunlight Knight" is accompanied by an amazing pixel art, video game style video. Ruinthrone Debuts "I Am The Night" Music Video
Italian fantasy power metallers, RuinThrone, will be releasing their new J.R.R. Tolkien-inspired album, The Unconscious Mind Of Arda, in January via Rockshots Records. The band have released a music video for the new single, "I Am The Night". Watch below.
In this song, the band recounts the right support brought by those who dare to go in the opposite direction. The song is dedicated to those who carry a difference, to those who have the courage to be a dissonant voice. Morgoth is the symbol of it all; in the theme of Iluvatar he refused to play a music that needed to be well-tuned with the others, instead he played a dissonant melody. This bold action will be a messenger of new creations. Banded in the void, alone, the song imagines Morgoth laughing at his punishments as he completes his work.
The band adds about the song: "Talking about which song any of us would have chosen as a single, everyone agreed that at least one had to be a good power metal song. That kind of song that, when played live, you can see people flying into the bar and headbanging until the end. So the choice was between this and 'Blessed By Loneliness.' It wasn’t an easy choice, but in the end we chose 'I Am The Night'. The chorus is so epic, Haedus reaches the higher notes of his vocal range and is also easy to sing for the audience. Municipal Waste Added To Kreator/Lamb Of God Tour
Kreator and Lamb Of God have announced their label mates Municipal Waste as support on their State Of Unrest 2023 European co-headline tour. The run was originally due to take place in Autumn 2022, but was recently postponed until February and March 2023. Acclaimed cross-over thrashers and notorious party animals Municipal Waste from Richmond, Virginia, are known for their wild and highly energetic live shows, which makes them a perfect fit.

Rotting Christ Announces 2023 North American Tour
Greek extreme metal legends Rotting Christ has announced a headlining tour across the United States and Canada, which will kick off in February of next year. Joining them on the trek will be Dutch symphonic black metal band Carach Angren, Portland, Oregeon's Uada and Portuguese black metal outfit Gaerea.

Brutal death metallers Bonecarver have released their crushing new single "Thorned," taken from their new album "Carnage Funeral" which is out now via Unique Leader. You can check it out below.
Bonecarver commented on the new single: "This is the fourth song from our album and you can clearly hear our grindcore influences, which we were using in our previous work. This time we've added more orchestral, electronic and dark ambient details for a whole new level of production. Heidevolk Unveils New Music Video
Five years since the release of their much-acclaimed album, "Vuur Van Verzet," February 24, 2023 will see Dutch pagan folk metal Heidevolk return with their seventh studio album, "Wederkeer ", via Napalm Records.
Following previously-released first album single, "Klauwen Vooruit," today, the band has premiered a brand new music video for the epic track "Drink met de Goden (Walhalla)" - inviting listeners on a folkloric adventure of myths, gods and legends!

Mystic Festival Adds Dark Atmospheric Bands
Antimatter, Darkher, Lili Refrain, Pure Bedlam – these four bands will perform a series of atmospheric shows that will explore different shades of darkness at Mystic Festival 2023.
