TraumeR To Release New Album "Avalon"

Brazilian melodic power metal band TraumeR has already gained worldwide recognition with the debut album "The Great Metal Storm" which was released in 2014. Almost 30,000 Fans on Facebook, two popular and professional produced music videos and a Japan release of the new album speak volumes of their international status.

With the new album "Avalon," the five piece demonstrates the ability to create classic power metal songs, which are carried by singer Guilherme Hirose's impressive voice, as well as complex arrangements and a rock production of international standard. Mika Jussila (Stratovarius, Nightwish) from Finnvox studios was responsible for the mastering and created the powerful and impulsive sound that this type of music needs. The album drops on November 11th via Fastball Music.

Especially, epic titles like "Angel Of The Night" or "The Song Of Broken Hearts" are featuring various vocal and guitar anthems and also well arranged solos without being 'overproduced'. Hence, Guilherme's voice and the song compositions themselves get the space they need within the arrangements.

"Avalon" waves the power metal flag uniting all fans of this genre worldwide. The track list for the album is: More...

Gnaw Their Tongues Details New Album

Just over a year since the Abyss Of Longing Throats full-length was released, Dutch experimental/black metal act Gnaw Their Tongues -- the work of frontman and demon channeler Maurice "Mories" De Jong, also of Aderlating, Cloak Of Altering, De Magia Veterum, among others -- has declared December 9th for release of the band's latest LP, "Hymns For The Broken, Swollen And Silent" via Consouling Sounds. Pre-orders can be made at this location. Check out the new song "Hold High The Banners Of Truth Among The Swollen Dead" in the player below.

"Hymns For The Broken, Swollen And Silent" shows Gnaw Their Tongues at the top of it's game. The band started out as a studio project, but has recently started performing live, and it feels like this carefully found its way into the music. Yet, "oppressive," "bleak," and "claustrophobic" remain the key words when describing the unique output of this drone/noise/black metal infused miscreant of De Jong. The music grabs you by the throat and sucks all the air out of the room. Although it leaves little more than an anaerobe environment, the music itself feels likes it has been breathing and organically growing into this true beast of an album. Fully performed and recorded by Mories at the Bejaarde II, Drachten, the artist also mixing and mastering the album, Hymns For The Broken, Swollen And Silent also features guest vocals on "Our Mouths Ridden With Worms" by Hekte Zaren. The EP is now streaming in the player below. Simultaneously, a video clip for the revamped version of the song "Titania" was launched.

These three new versions have been collected in "Remix Remodel," with new track versions as remixed by Beau Hill (producer, Europe, Alice Cooper, Ratt) on "No Need To Fear," After Forever's Joost Van Den Broeck for "Lost Souls From The Other Side" and François-Maxime Boutault (producer, Dagoba, others) for "Titania," with mastering handled at Fascination Street Studio by Tony Lindgren.

The video clip for song "Titania" - the remixed version of the track, found on "Remix Remodel" - was directed by Rusty J. Matalou in a German Expressionism style, bringing a new visual dimension to Melted Space, and extending Pierre Le Pape's musical universe to the outfit's fanbase.
