Moloken Posts "Subliminal Hymns" Video

A monolithic wall of dread and despair shrouded in sulfuric atmospheres and an overwhelming sentiment of desolation, Moloken's "All Is Left To See" centers itself around a lyrical concept called mörkrets kärna (Swedish for "darkness core"), and serves as a veritable soundtrack to falling into a pit of misery and paranoia.

Out now in Europe, "All Is Left To See" will see North American release on November 13, 2015 via Temple Of Torturous. The entire album has come online for streaming and can be heard right here. Today a music video for the track "Subliminal Hymns" can also be seen below. Moloken comments:

"'Subliminal Hymns' is about your subconscious talking so clearly that eventually you cannot neglect it. Different dreams and different scenarios that all ends with the same lines of words that repeatedly echo in your head. And you finally wakes and then it hits you. All is left to see, but this is just the beginning. Surrender to yourself, embrace the I, and experience the power. All is left to see. The video was caught in the moment while the band was recording live in the studio at Tonteknik recording in Umeå. The band invites you to an intimate video in all it simplicity, filmed with three cameras on one take. The result is a naked experience that both captures the band and also the surreal power in the song." More...

Scorpion Child Streaming New Single

The Austin heavy psych-rockers from Scorpion Child are very pleased to announce the release of a brand new single titled "She Sings, I Kill."

This new track gives us a furtive glimpse into the Texans' upcoming sophomore album on the wake of starting a month long European tour. Aryn Jonathan Black returns with his rich, electrifying vocals interwoven with the groove laden riffs of guitarist Christopher Jay Cowart and the sauntering bass work of Alec Caballero Padron. Scorpion Child is completed by Jon ‘Charn’ Rice (drums) and AJ Vincent (keyboards).

Vocalist Aryn Jonathan Black commented: “Greetings everyone! Rather than viewing ‘She Sings, I Kill’ as a first single off of our upcoming album, it serves more as a window into its creation. It offers a mix unique to this release but also previews one direction taken on this next record that we're excited to finally bring into fruition. We hope you enjoy.” More...

Evertrapped Posts "Embrace The End" Video

Delivering relentless brutal melodic death metal on recently released third studio album "Under The Deep" (still streaming here), Montreal, QC five piece Evertrapped just released a video for "Embrace The End," which can be viewed below. Vocalist James Brookes comments on the video:

“Our latest video for 'Embrace The End' goes further underneath the depths of the darker side of [Evertrapped]. However, we also went ‘Blair Witch’ style in order to add the element of raw terror that the ‘home video’ style can bring. I will also add that the track itself is about the apocalypse and the actual last hour of the end. A look at almost coming to terms with the fact that it was likely the fault of humanity and embracing the acceptance of such evil." More...

Sunpocrisy Posts "Eyegasm, Hallelujah!" Online

Post-progressive metal band Sunpocrisy just released new album "Eyegasm, Hallelujah!" on YouTube as a huge multimedia audio/visual opera. Check it out through the playlist below. Sunpocrisy comments:

“On November the 2nd I was traveling to Rome and started to work on live visuals projections for Sunpocrisy’s shows, twisting around the idea behind the artwork of Eyegasm, Hallelujah! and its video teaser. Fractals designs have always fascinated me and i was quite happy with the result I obtained with the album cover, but i wanted to push boundaries a little higher and integrate fractal animation I made with a more kaleidoscopic effect.

"The result was mesmerizing and I decided to explore every possibilities: post-production brought me to more than an hour of different reflections footages. I cut this main composition into sections and assigns songs on archetypes i see on different part of the motion picture and how those can be related to lyrics, sometimes with affinity. With this multimedia artifact I hope our listeners can feel overwhelmed by music and videos and reach at least the Eyegasm.“ More...

Night Demon Posts "Heavy Metal Heat" Video

Night Demon just unleashed a brand new music video for the single "Heavy Metal Heat." The band will continue nonstop touring in support of debut album "Curse of the Damned" that released earlier this year.

A string of new tour dates alongside Holy Grail was just announced, kicking things off in Los Angeles on November 7, 2015 at The Echo with special guests Kyng. The complete list of dates are below. The band also comments:

"What an amazing year it has been so far for Night Demon! Since the beginning of 2015, we have been on a mission to spread the gospel of metal. Starting as early as the first of the year, we traveled the states for the first month with Skull Fist, released our debut full length 'Curse of the Damned,' came straight to Europe for ten straight weeks of concerts, some which included appearances at the Very Eavy fest and Metal Assault.

"Taking no break, and coming back to America for a seventy date headlining tour, then following it up with an extensive tour of Mexico. We now find ourselves finally having some breathing room at home, but not too much, as we are currently writing and demoing songs for what will become the next Night Demon album. We recently played the Frost and Fire fest and are scheduled to perform at the Southwest Terror Fest. But never count the Demon out of touring! We will be again hitting the road this December for the holiday season with our brothers in Holy Grail. We love you all and appreciate the endless support. Lets finish the year strong, and gear up for a new album and much more touring to come. Time to feel the Heavy Metal Heat!" More...

W.A.S.P. Takes You To "Golgotha"

It seems controversy has always surrounded Blackie Lawless and W.A.S.P. Since 1982, the band has seen outcry from the nomenclature behind the band's acronym, the infamous buzzsaw codpiece from "Animal" that sparked the P.M.R.C. debates, and the sound departure and image behind the 1997 release "K.F.D." ("Kill Fuck Die"). One thing is certain, W.A.S.P. has brought forth an enormous array of quality material over the years, never wavering from a foundation of brilliant songwriting.

With the new album "Golgotha" (now available via Napalm Records), the band may have just issued an album that tops the landmark release "The Crimson Idol" (1992). A review for the album can be found at this location. The album can be purchased at this location.

Named after the hill where Jesus Christ was crucified, "Golgotha" (which means "place of the skull") continues the exploration of Biblical horror stories that W.A.S.P. employed on "Babylon." "'There are times in any band’s career that somehow all things mesh together," says Lawless. "Their experiences, influences, and personal timing bring them into a common space. This has happened with this record. Four years in the making has provided direction, but even greater reflection."

The lyric video - an insane cacophony of bloodshed and beauty - partially shows the death of Christ from the perspective of the robbers crucified with him that day.

Metal Underground.com is proud to present...."Golgotha": More...
