Soulfly & Nile Co-Headlining U.S. Tour Announced

Soulfly and Nile will co-headline the "From The Amazon To The Nile U.S. Tour" in the spring next year. Comments Nile‘s Karl Sanders of the tour:

"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring Nile fans in the States a last round of touring supporting the ‘What Should Not Be Unearthed‘ album. Teaming up with Soulfly is going to make for a killer package sure to please Metal Fans.

‘2018’ coincidentally also happens to mark the 20th Anniversary of the "Amongst The Catacombs Of Nephren-Ka" release, so we are likely going to playing some not-heard-in-years material from that classic recording as well as fan favorites from our entire catalog ,and of course tracks from our latest release, What Should Not be Unearthed. More Bands Confirmed For Graspop 2018

The organisers of Belgium's Graspop Metal Meeting festival has announced a string of new names for next year's edition of the event, which will be held over four days from June 21st to June 24th. In addition to the previously announced acts, Guns N Roses, Ozzy Osbourne and Iron Maiden, the festival will also host such big names as British heavy metal icons Judas Priest, thrash metal legends Megadeth, Kreator and Exodus, nu metal giants Limp Bizkit and the Ice-T fronted, Body Count, amongst many others.

Exhumed To Begin US Headlining Tour This Week

Gore metal maniacs Exhumed will kick off their US headlining tour this week. Set to begin November 15th and run through December 8th, the trek follows the band's recent performance at Ozzfest Meets Knotfest. Support will be provided by Arkaik.

Exhumed will be touring in support of latest full-length, "Death Revenge". Recorded with producer Jarrett Pritchard (Goatwhore, Eternal, Gruesome), Death Revenge takes the band's signature gore-drenched, death metal mayhem to theatrical and ghastly new depths. "Death Revenge" is out now on CD, LP, deluxe LP with cassette, and digital formats via Relapse Records.

Omotai Debut "Last Of The Green Vial" Music Video

Houston, Texas-based Omotai has issued the first of several new videos from their recently-released A Ruined Oak full-length, releasing the visual accompaniment for "Last Of The Green Vial" through a debut hosted by Invisible Oranges. Offers T.C. Woodruff who created the video for Omotai, "Their music has a lot of dread and paranoia, but as people, they're quite a sarcastic, good humored bunch. I wanted to riff off all of that."

Unsane To Begin North American Tour This Week

New York City's Unsane begin a new North American tour in support of their eighth studio full-length album, "Sterilize", released in September through Southern Lord.

With their intense month-long European tour ending only one week ago, Unsane begins another massive trek which sees them out for over a month on North American soil. The new tour begins this Thursday, December 16th with two consecutive shows in Brooklyn, after which they'll run a clockwise path of smoldering demolition throughout the US and lower Canada through December 19th, the tour ending in Philadelphia.

The video captures the awe-inspiring energy of As Paradise Falls in a live setting. #metoo: Allegations Surface Against PTV & WCAR

In the wake of the Harvey Weinstein allegations and the #metoo movement, more and more victims of sexual assault, harassment and misconduct step forward. As such, also some allegations have now surfaced against members of the bands Pierce The Veil, Slaves (US) and We Came As Romans.

Pierce The Veil drummer Mike Fuentes has been accused of conducting a sexual relationship with a female who was 16, he is said to have been 24 at the time of the relationship. According to the woman, the incidents happened roughly ten years ago. The woman in question claims to be from the state of California and thus would have been under the legal age of consent. Her accusation can be found here, shared by a friend, along with some blurred out naked photographs of what appears to be Fuentes pleasuring himself via a video chat.

Slaves vocalist Jonny Craig has been accused of sexual misconduct with a minor as well as sexual assault and domestic abuse.

We Came As Romans vocalist Kyle Pavone has been accused of physically assaulting a woman after a consensual sexual encounter did not go as planned.

As of yet, none of the accused musicians have addressed the allegations publicly.

Ex-Faith No More: Singer Heroin Overdose Suspected

TMZ reports that two syringes, a baggie and a spoon with residue were found by the body of former Faith No More singer Chuck Mosley, who passed away last Thursday, November 09th, 2017. As such it is thought that Mosley‘s death will be ruled the result of an accidental heroin overdose. Toxicology reports are still pending however. The singer's family described his death as being “due to the disease of addiction.” It''ll take weeks before the Medical Examiner's office gets official toxicology results.
