Anima Damnata Posts More Details Of New LP

Anima Damnata's "Nefarious Seed Grows to Bring Forth Supremacy of the Beast" is going to be out on November 1st via Godz Ov War Productions & Malignant Voices. The album will be issued in various formats, such as CD, 12"LP, and Digital Download. The album is going to have it's exclusive premiere during the Polish leg of the Abhorrent Desecration Tour 2017 on which Anima Damnata will be supporting Black Witchery, Possession and Nyogthaeblisz.

The band is streaming the new song "Uprising Lucifer" in the player at the bottom.

The band commented: "The 'Nefarious Seed...' was meant to be more intense and overwhelming than our previous releases. It is like a demon sitting on your chest, taking your breath away. Although it is more mature and less chaotic, it strikes with greater precision at the foundations of extreme metal music. This album is rather self-inspired; however, some influences of bands like Deicide, Sarcofago and Morbid Angel may be audible. The lyrical concept is mostly set upon Promethean values, the inner strength driven by the darkest visions, and the impending end of all religions. The production of the album follows the pattern set on Scott Burns' early works, but it has been enriched with foul miasma. The 'Nefarious Seed...' completes our rapturous pentalogy dedicated to the Horned Lord. There is a bad moon on the rise, and the future is dark."

The track listing for the album is: More...

The Modern Age Of Slavery Streams New Song

Italian deathcore act The Modern Age Of Slavery released a lyric video for the new song "The Theory Of Shadows." The song comes from the band's upcoming new album "Stygian" coming on November 24th via Innerstrength Records.

The band states the following about the upcoming album: "With this new album we tried to make another step forward in the evolution of our sound: what you’ll hear is a quite obscure atmosphere delivering a sullen and evil experience, yet keeping the heaviness of the death metal matrix that marked our music in the previous albums. The lyrics are all inspired by a common theme, from which the name Stygian and the artwork comes; it discusses the questionable matter of the human evolution leading men to a slow but inevitable mutation into a being that has lost his mind and compassion devoured by greediness and his will for power. All the pieces of the puzzle are perfectly pondered to create an album made of passion, anger and real emotions. This the new TMAS’s album!"

The track listing is:

1. Prelude To An Evolution
2. The Reprisal Within
3. A Stygian Tide
4. Miles Apart
5. Regression Through Unlearning
6. The Hollow Men
7. The Place We Call Home
8. The Theory Of Shadows
9. Sandblasted Skin (Pantera Cover)

Eisley/Goldy Announce Debut Album

Frontiers Music Srl is proud to announce a new project, Eisley/Goldy, which will release the debut album "Blood, Guts and Games" on December 1, 2017. The first track from the upcoming release, “The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter” is out today! The official music video can be viewed in the player below. Pre-order the release now at this location.

Singer David Glen Eisley and guitarist Craig Goldy (Resurrection Kings, ex-Dio), both formerly of Giuffria, have joined forces again in Eisley/Goldy, a partnership which sees the two artists bring back the signature sound that launched their respective careers in the early ‘80s.

As David Glen Eisley stated around October 2014, after several years on hiatus after his 2001 solo effort, "My dear friend of many years, guitar virtuoso Craig Goldy made a surprise visit up to my house, knocked on the door and simply stated ‘Enough of this my friend…time for you to get up off your ass and come back to work!’ He was so adamant, I relented and agreed to join him on a small stage in the San Diego area. It all seemed to go well and the next thing I knew a year later, we were in Nottingham, England playing together again in front of a crowd. We had been discussing writing some material for a potential album during this past year. But where to take it, assuming we were to actually do one? That left a big question, but a simple answer. The BEST Rock & Roll label left on the planet that understood who we were and who we are today. That was Frontiers and our friends Serafino & Mario!! A deal was struck and we both are happy to say "Eisley/Goldy" will be bringing you a new record in 2017. Funny how things happen in this crazy world of Rock & Roll!” More...

Arch Enemy Posts New Video Clip "The Race"

Having just completed a successful run of dates across Eastern Europe on the "Will To Power International Tour," extreme metal giants Arch Enemy is back with another ripping single from the recently released album "Will To Power," with the music video single for "The Race."

Founding member Michael Amott commented: "This was actually the last song written for the 'Will To Power' album. Listening through all the material we had up to that point we agreed that the album needed one more song that would be a relentless and fast paced counterpoint to some of the more epic compositions we already had. We sent Alissa the music and she came up with a thought provoking set of lyrics with an intense vocal arrangement that complemented the music perfectly. We've been having a blast playing this song on the current tour and we had our video director Patric Ullaeus come out to capture the mayhem at our recent show in Helsinki, Finland... Enjoy 'The Race'!"

WildeStarr To Release New Album "Beyond The Rain"

WildeStarr - featuring the combined talents of 3 of the most dynamic musicians in heavy metal today: Dave Starr (Vicious Rumors, Chastain) on all guitars & bass, London Wilde on vocals (who many regard as highly as Rob Halford, Dio, and Geoff Tate), and power house Josh Foster on drums - are geared up to release the new album "Beyond the Rain" via Scarlet Records on December 8th.

Through three studio albums ("Arrival," in 2010; "A Tell Tale Heart," in 2012; and now with "Beyond The Rain," in 2017), WildeStarr has established itself as the master of its craft with melodic and aggressive metal full of drama, and conveyed via a huge wall of sound. Husband and wife team Dave Starr and London Wilde have been friends for 30 years, and married for over 15 now. This makes the songwriting and chemistry very special and unique in the world of heavy metal.

"Beyond The Rain" takes the listener on a harrowing ride and emotional roller coaster. Some might think its a concept album, but its actually much more than that. The songs are London Wilde's lyrical expression of pain, torment, hope, and love based on the real life tragic suicide of her brother Gary in 2012. Gary was a gifted musician who suffered the sad pitfalls of many others who pickup the guitar and dream of success in the music biz. After his death, Gary essentially became a not so silent fourth member of the band, and his presence and spirit was deeply felt throughout the songwriting and recording process.

The track listing is:

1. Metamorphose
2. Beyond The Rain
3. Pressing The Wires
4. Double Red
5. Down Cold
6. Rage And Water
7. Crimson Fifths
8. Undersold
9. From Shadow
10. When The Night Falls More...

Pile Of Excrements Streams Debut "Escatology"

Greek death/thrash act Pile Of Excrements is streaming the debut album "Escatology" in full over at No Clean Singing at this location, or just simply in the player below. The album shits out on October 23rd via Memento Mori.

Hailing from Athens, Greece, Pile of Excrements was crapped into existence when drummer Shit Eater (Necrovorous, Embrace of Thorns, Chainsaw) joined forces with guitar/bass-player and vocalist Necropervert (Nightbreed, Chainsaw) with the vile intention of delighting the listener with the aural equivalent of the nauseating stench of one hundred drains clogged with foul-smelling turds and urine. And as the title of their debut album promises, "Escatology" is exactly that!

Pile of Excrements pile high the punk rockin' hooks so crucial to early death metal - that is, the original template laid out by the aforementioned masters - and keep the crush coming. It's 15 almost-anthems in a tight 'n' taut 40 minutes, but it's not all short/sharp/shocked: on the six-minute "Cult of the Unibrow," the duo go relatively epic whilst keeping the emphasis on the filth...where it should be!

The track listing for the album is:

1. Bowel Rampage
2. Miasma Cuming Embalming Fluids
3. Made in Chernobyl
4. Hooker with a Hook
5. Graveyard Delicatessen
6. Leper Orgy
7. Escatology
8. Silent but Deadly
9. Yellow Front, Brown Back
10. Minestrone
11. Cult of the Unibrow
12. Skourkos the Polluter
13. Buttfucked by Giant Cockroach
14. Human Compost
15. Tourette Aggressor More...

Amberian Dawn Premieres Video Clip For New Single

Finnish Symphonic Metal masters Amberian Dawn teamed up with MetalUnderground.com for the premiere of the new single "I'm The One." The song is the opening track from the upcoming full length studio album "Darkness Of Eternity," set to drop on November 10th worldwide via Napalm Records.

Mastermind Tuomas Seppälä comments:"'I'm The One' was one of the latest compositions for new album. After writing a couple of softer songs in fall 2016 I got a new 'heavy wave' and probably 3 latest songs I wrote were quite heavy. The song is very hectic and pushes forward like a train. There's no solo part on this song (a solo would have been quite obvious call) Instead of that I wrote an instrumental part and an extra vocal part. Last vocal part's melody and chord pattern supporting it consists of just one really long phrase... this kind of long phrasing was typical in many classical compositions. I still haven't got rid of my roots in classical music!"

The "Magic Forest" story continues on this album and Tuomas explains: "The song 'Symphony Nr.1. Part 1 - The Witchcraft' told the story on the last record 'Innuendo' before the time of 'Magic Forest.' The little girl is a healer and village elders buried her alive in a coffin. The track 'Symphony Nr.1. Part 2 - Darkness of Eternity' on our upcoming record 'Darkness of Eternity' tells the story of the girl lying in the coffin trying to get out. Darkness is asking her to dance the waltz of eternity. The story will continue in Part 3 and we will tell you how she became the Magic Forest's evil witch!"

The track listing for "Darkness Of Eternity" is:

1. I'm The One
2. Sky Is Falling
3. Dragonflies
4. Maybe (see lyric video here)
5. Golden Coins
6. Luna My Darling
7. Abyss
8. Ghostwoman
9. Breathe Again
10. Symphony Nr. 1 part 2 - Darkness Of Eternity

In-Defilade Prepare To Release "Elude"

In-Defilade will release the sophomore album "Elude" on November 20th independently. Check out the new song "Fearing the Worst" in the player below.

“To the end of their lives I will drive them...There will be no fury as my fury” - The words are taken from "Will To Survive," the opening track of In-Defilade’s second album, "Elude." In those few words there lies a hint of the supreme, imperious, unassailable power that radiates from every note of this staggering release. The music moves through an array of moods and tempos, from the insidious slithering dread of "The Collapse" to the tumultuous torrent of riffs and indefatigable blast beat assaults of "Fearing The Worst," but at all times there is that sense of ultimate confidence, the unshakeable self knowledge that In-Defilade stand tall, subservient to none.

In-Defilade was first created by Jon Vesano, the man whose mighty bass and vocal roar can be heard on Nile’s revered "Annihilation Of The Wicked" and "In Their Darkened Shrines" albums and who fronted the dark, underground treasure of Dark Moon. For the first In-Defilade album, "Rulers Of Famine," Vesano was joined by Vesperian Sorrow’s Subverseraph and guitarist Shawn Lee Bozarth – known for his work with legendary thrash outfits Defiance and Ulysses Siren. Before work commenced on Elude Bozarth stood down from the ranks, but Vesano and Subverseraph ensnared drummer Erik Schultek (ex-Narcotic Wasteland) and the resulting chemistry is terrifying in its potency.

Vesano’s vocals have never sounded so venomous as they do on "Elude," blending brutality with a biting clarity as he enunciates his disdain for the weakness of humanity. The thunderous barrage of the rhythm section is soul-shaking, overwhelming, intimidating in its sheer unfathomable power and the riffs are a firestorm that fuses complexity with immediacy, a nuclear explosion of bewildering velocity, yet rife with barbed, inescapable hooks. Then scything through the maelstrom come the howling chaos of the solos, supplied by guest, friend and comrade in arms, Dallas Toler-Wade (ex-Nile, Narcotic Wasteland).

In-Defilade are coming and you have a choice to make – ride the storm with them, or be torn asunder as it passes over you. Elude is death metal of inhuman power and it will not be denied. More...

Speedclaw To Release New EP "Beast In The Mist"

Croatian speed metal act Speedclaw will release the new EP "Beast in the Mist" on December 29th via Shadow Kingdom Records. The new track "Rising of the Claw" can be heard streaming in the player at the bottom.

Following hot on the heels of the debut EP, "Iron Speed" - which Shadow Kingdom released on cassette to widespread critical acclaim earlier in 2017 - now Speedclaw strikes while the iron's white hot with "Beast in the Mist"! Taking all the electricity and excitement of that debut short-length, this new short-length sees this Croatian force of nature increasing the power and professionalism in equal, no-less-devastating measures.

Just like that first record, Speedclaw still embodies all the energy of the early '80s, when the NWoBHM was in full steam and speed metal was in its early days, and takes the hooks and heaviness even higher into the night. Here, no doubt bolstered by the rich 'n' robust production, these four maniacs more patiently ply their bolder and more epic songwriting whilst not losing an ounce of engaging immediacy; if anything, they're going even harder and faster for the throat. Then again, "Beast in the Mist" plays out its drama in a darker manner, letting Speedclaw digs its nails in deeply and differently than "Iron Speed." But make no mistake: Speedclaw is its own master, and totally heavy metal to the bone! Beware the "Beast in the Mist"!

The track list is:

1. Prelude
2. Beast in the Mist
3. Faster Than Hell
4. Rising of the Claw
5. Agression Strikes
6. Evil That You See
