Mourners Lament Signs To Rain Without End Records

Rain Without End has checked in with the following announcement about inking a deal with Mourners Lament:

"Rain Without End Records is extremely happy to welcome Chilean doomsters Mourners Lament to our doom metal family. Mourners Lament play a dark and crushing brand of death/doom full of depressive melodies and atmospheres. The band was born in 2004 in Chile with the idea of creating a heavy mixture of depressive and oppressive music based on the older British trinity as well as other classic and modern influences.

"To date Mourners Lament has released a demo in 2004 and an EP in 2008 titled 'Unbroken Solemnity' which was originally released through Descent Productions of the Netherlands. Between 2008 and 2009 the band welcomed members from Poema Arcanus, Mar de Grises and Procession to the line-up and began playing live shows. Sadly in 2009 the band put things on hold and remained relatively silent until now. Mourners Lament is now back after almost 4 years of silence and now pushes forward with renewed energy. The guys have returned to their original line-up and are currently working on a brand new full length to be released through Rain Without End Records sometime in 2014."

The band comments: “Its very important for us to announce that the record label Rain Without End is our new home (where we will realize our upcoming album)! We want to say thanks to James and Robert for trust in our work and a very special thanks to our good friend Juan Escobar (AstorVoltaires) for his unconditional support. More news…very soon!”

Mourners Lament is:

Fernando Opazo: Guitars
Marcos Contreras: Guitars
Rodrigo Figueroa: Drums
Matias Aguirre: Keyboards
