Metal Blade To Sign Mystery Retro Band

Metal Blade Records is set to announce a new band to their roster this month, which is said to be a "70 era NWOBHM band you've never heard of."

In a press release about the signing they state "Given the success of Nuclear Blast's signing of Hell and Listenable Records upcoming album from Satan, we here at Metal Blade get that metal fans want retro. And satanic; the whole Ghost thing! We have our own metal gem in the ready to shine, they're pretty cult though. We don't think you would have heard of them."

The details of the new band haven't been released, but it is said to be a band from the 70s, with no full length releases and "only vinyl demos". Rumors around are that it could be anyone from Jameson Raid, to Bleak House (mostly known for being a band Metallica borrowed a riff from).
