Iskald Issues New Album Progress Update

Norway's Iskald has checked in with the following update about the progress of the band recording a new album:

"Album update #1 - Heading north This will be the first of many updates where you will be able to follow us in the process and making of our new album due to be released early next year. Our MySpace blog will be updated quite frequently with major updates, but you can now also follow us on Twitter or Facebook for possible smaller updates.

"This weekend Simon and I traveled back to where it all began, Sortland, to start the pre-production for the album. Everything will be recorded at my old rehearsal dungeon. Here are some photos showing the setup and some empty bottles of course. Everything should be recorded within next weekend if everything goes as planned. As all songs are pretty much finalized already it's all about preparing for the recordings to come and get those last minute ideas into work.

"Drums are to be recorded first and so far 3 songs are nailed. Tomorrow we will continued with the drums and maybe get some guitars going as well... BEWARE! Next Friday we're going to perform at the Blabla festival at Sortland. If you are in the area try fetch this event as it’s probably the only chance to see Iskald live in 2010."
