Murder Squad Issue Second Album

Sweden's Murder Squad, featuring Dismember bassist Rickard Cabeza, Dismember vocalist Matti Kärki, Entombed guitarist Uffe Cederlund and Entombed drummer Peter Stjärnwind, have just issued their sophomore album, "Ravenous, Murderous", in Europe through Threeman Records (Entombed's own label). The CD, which features a guest appearance by former Death/Autopsy drummer Chris Reifert, was completed at a Stockholm studio over a two-week period in March 2002. A U.S. release date has yet to be announced. In other news, the band have pulled out of their previously announced appearance at Germany's Fuck the Commerce festival, "but we are working on shows in Sweden and Europe so keep your rotten eyes open," reads a message on the group's official web site. "Also shows in the US are planned to follow the album release..."
