Megadeth Mainman Dave Mustaine Sings Guitarist Chris Broderick's Praises

Megadeth mainman Dave Mustaine has checked in with a message about current Megadeth guitarist Chris Broderick. It reads as follows:

"I just wrote about 6-700 words about Chris' birthday and the past few days, and the frickin page disappeared when I wanted to spell check it.

"So, if this isn't as colorful as my usual posts, its because there is a big black cloud over my head right now shoot lightning bolts at the computer, and the sound of thunder while I play and replay me sticking my foot through the laptop screen!

"Anyway, as y'all know, Chris Broderick turned 39 yesterday, and I am so proud of this guy. I mean, I watch him play on stage and everyday he gets better and better. We are aware of the reviews, and we still are trying to have a perfect show, so if you think that you have seen a good one, just wait until he starts to feel 100% and then after that, once I start to feel we are at 100%.

"I am going on record and I am saying unequivocally that Chris is THE BEST GUITARIST Megadeth has ever had. And the real talented musicians in Megadeth's alumni will agree, he is an absolute monster. I mean, he plays the catalog better than anyone did. Jeff Young never wanted to do Chris Poland's stuff, and so on, and so on, until the last guitarist we had before we disbanded over my arm injury.

"Its funny, because just when I think he can get no more outrageous, or any more thrilling with the guitar solos, he comes up with something really beautiful like Marty Friedman would do (he has Marty pretty well down pat), and then goes into the GIT styles that Jeff Young did, yet, there is still such a freshness to his playing and he is so raw, its like having a new prize bull. And even though he ain't a such a young bull, he definitely an old bull like me

"I would have a much better, much more informative post, like seeing one of our old regulars here and one of our old artists, Acryl. I got his CD of his band Warhead, and I was really surprised. It was good, and although it is not my cup of tea, I can see how he is going to be successful and I wish Warhead of Hamburg, Germany the best.

"That's it; time to wash the metal parts and get them to the job-site :-)

"One last thing, to all of our fan club that has been meeting us out here; I am so excited to meet you all, and yes I am that tall, and no I don't smell like most metal dudes, sure I don't mind a picture (please read the manual before you get here)

"Tonight is going to be a terrible night because of the facility, but the bands and the crews are all stars and we are all looking out for each other, and we will take care of the music, so you just act like we aren't playing a shit-hole and no one will notice, OK?

"That's it for now, sadly, and this is nothing like what the cyber bastards ate when I spelled checked this, so if there are typos . . . get over it!

"MS-Hooked on phonics worked for me-GD!"
