Superjoint Posts "Caught Up In The Gears Of Application" Music Video
This past Friday, Superjoint unleashed the debauched "Caught Up In The Gears Of Application" full-length album (still streaming in full here).
The band's first proper studio offering in over a decade, the thirty-eight-minute punisher spews forth an acrimonious crossover of hardcore punk, metal, and uncompromising, antagonistic, New Orleans-style angst (check out our review).
A new video for "Caught Up In The Gears Of Application" was captured at various locations in Louisiana including the historic district of Old Kenner, the Blue Nile in New Orleans, and the Housecore compound.
The clip was directed by Kate Richardson courtesy of Housecore Records, and shot and edited by Mike Holderbeast with production by Carolyn Babauta. Elaborates Superjoint's Philip H. Anselmo cryptically, "The video is supposed to be as ridiculously abstract as the song itself. But regardless, it makes its ridiculous point(s) dreadfully well."
