Keychain Aims To Resurrect Nu Metal With "Breaking Out"

Keychain mixes together metal, alt-rock, and hip hop for a rebrith of the nu metal genre. In the band's first year of existence alone, the Quebec-based group has booked over 50 shows, confirmed an upcoming cross country North-American summer/fall tour, and will be releasing 3 music videos and 3 live acoustic videos by 2016's end.

Upcoming debut EP "Breaking Out" is set for release on August 5th and was produced by award winning producer/engineer/mixer Glen Robinson, plus mastered by Howie Weinberg (Pantera, Limp Bizkit, The Deftones, etc). Check out the song "Prime Time" below. Vocalist JP Lachapelle comments:

"It's 'Prime Time!' Your life, your choice, your rules. Cameras rolling & speakers exploding; let's get this fucking party started. Choose your true religion & make your mark. Live free, love deep and die hard; that's the Keychain creed. From Montreal to across the continent, this is the rebirth of NuMetal."
