Metalunderground.com Official Podcast, Episode 38: DeLand Rock & Metal Festival

Band Photo: Behemoth (?)
This week, co-host Kevin Perez (n0thinghead) announces several upcoming concerts at Fort Lauderdale’s Revolution Live - stretching well into next year - and would like to know who’d be interested in some more ticket giveaway contests.
Performances include: Crowbar and Unearth on Tuesday, December 2nd; August Burns Red, Miss May I, and Northlane on Tuesday, March 3rd; Behemoth, Cannibal Corpse, and Aeon on Saturday, March 7th; and Nightwish, Sabaton, and Delain on Saturday, May 9th.
Any Floridians interested should let us know, so we can launch more contests and make the trip worth your while. Contact us at podcast@metalunderground.com.
Our Band of the Week is Pacto, a Spanish-speaking doom/black metal lot from Bogotá, Colombia, formed in 2007. After several years of work, they released the full-length album “El Reino De Los Hechiceros” earlier this year. We introduce and discuss the song “Senda Sin Fin” at the start, and stay tuned for the title track at our sign-off.
Then co-host Mike Smith (OverkillExposure) recaps, with a scratchy voice, an intense weekend he spent recently in central Florida for the DeLand Rock & Metal Festival (co-sponsored by none other than MetalUnderground.com). He considers it an overall success, and wishes to say a few words on some of his favorite acts of the event, including Everthrone, Orbweaver, and Seven Kingdoms.
