As the name suggests, I be a true Irish Metalhead (at uni in Glasgow :P)

Only really got into Metal at 15 or so after hovering on the edge of it with bands like Sum 41 etc, with Iron maiden and co being known of. Met my girlfriend, she had some compilation cd's - terrorizer samples and the like - and I was off. Straight into the realm of true Metal \m/

I hit up every gig I can pay for, and starve a bit when I'm short on money, but if there's a good gig coming up then I'm usually at it.

Looking to go to Wacken, commercialized and over secured as it has reportedly become. Graspop was good, but Wacken is the one you hear about.

A few of my favourite bands include - Naglfar, Augury, Adagio, Zonaria, Amon Amarth, Children Of Bodom, Annunaki, BLS, Byzantine, Machinemade God, Heavenly, 8 Foot Sativa, Kalmah, LOG, Dropkick Murphys, Machine Head, Manntis, Meshuggah, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Inferi, Nothingface, The Haunted, Chimaira, Behemoth, Emperor, Soilwork, Anaal Nathrakh and Xasthur... The list goes on and on.

Favourite gig? Toss up between LOG (love the wall of death) Mastodon (awesome with a long set) Soulfly (Goddamn Max is a legend) and Anaal Nathrakh (proper old school gig, stage diving and crowdsurfing all the way)
