We are delighted to officially reveal the first part of our upcoming E.P. Trilogy, The Abyss Vol. 1. The first part, which will be released digitally (iTunes/Spotify/Amazon etc…) on Friday 13th April 2018, includes two brand new songs, Broken and Crucifixion (the latter features our bassist Marc on lead vocals), as well as new recordings of The Dark Tower and The Extremist, both of which give a great representation of the evolution of the band since the release of the Traitor album in October 2016, and is the most professional production we’ve had to date. The Abyss Vol. 1 was recorded at Laurel House Studios in Wakefield, with Matt Knee producing, mixing and mastering. Keira James has also returned to create the fantastic artwork, which will be fully utilised on the CD release and any merchandise that may tie in to the collection. This will be the first time that both Marc and Diz will be featured on a Hamerex recording. Tracklisting
The Extremist (Firth/Moules/Blower) The Abyss Vol. One is available digitally now on the Hamerex store with The Abyss Complete Collection CD also available to pre-order. (http://hamerex.bandcamp.com for anyone interested in checking it out) The Abyss Complete Collection will be made available around the release of The Abyss Vol. 3, which we’re aiming to be released before the end of the year. |
