Just the formalities before Zareptha will be streaming four songs here on myspace - and the whole album will be available on iTunes and Spotify. We are currently practicing hard, working on three new songs and playing our live-set over and over and over again. We simply cannot wait to get out there on a scene again and play! That's what we live for.
"If you happen to be in Oslo on November the 13th, get your ass to Hausmania and 'Monsters of Metal 2010.' Zareptha will be playing that night. New songs will probably be uploaded in about a week. Have a nice one!"
Tennessee based religious doom metal act Place of Skulls has announced the band's fourth full-length album will be entitled "As A Dog Returns." In conjunction with the new release, Place of Skulls will embark on a European tour alongside Japanese doom rock trio Eternal Elysium. The tour will run from October 23rd to November 8th and kick off at the fourth annual Hammer Of Doom Fest in Würzburg, Germany. Guitarist/vocalist Victor Griffin commented of the upcoming full-length and run of tour dates:
"The new album is ready to hit and it's a hard one to describe. While it has the heaviness and darkness expected from Place of Skulls, no one song is indicative of the entire record. It really has to be heard and meditated on by the individual listener to judge its merits fairly. But whatever the general consensus is, as always, we've made another album exactly as we wanted to make it delivering a heavy dose of doom reality with a brighter than ever light at the end of the tunnel! We're excited to be kicking off a new European tour with Eternal Elysium supporting," We also have a possible US tour being considered for early 2011, and dates already being confirmed for another European tour in April 2011 including the Roadburn Festival! Thanks to everyone for all their support and Godspeed!"

In the new album, we have succeeded to combine old school Thrash Metal, with a modern touch. Fast and aggressive, but at the same time, melodic with powerful feelings. I'm sure that 'Evolution' will satisfy the appetite of the diehard fans of Thrash Metal! I can't wait to perform this material live!"
Pulverised Records A&R Manager Calvin also stated: "We were approached by Ilias some time ago and honestly, there was no way you would not pay attention at all with all the well-respected musicians that have and still continue to make such a strong impact and influence to so many Metal fans worldwide. So after some discussions with Ilias and a really good offer put on the table, the album deal was sealed. We are very excited and definitely looking forward to hear how the new album will sound like. After playing on the Rubicon Release Party in Stavanger, Johansen will rejoin the band in London on October 8th for the concert at Camden Underworld, and stay on board until after the Krakow concert on October 15th.
"This wasn’t really planned at all. Pete was supposed to join us for the release party in Stavanger and that was all, but on our first rehearsal together just a few weeks ago everything just clicked. We did actually joke with Pete about him joining us for the tour, and little did we know that only two days after, Pete would offer his incredible talent to us for so many more gigs than planned. We’re all really buzzing about this, and we think our fans will see this as a nice bonus.
"Pete Johansen rejoined forces with Tristania for the Rubicon studio sessions earlier this year and recorded guest violin parts for several of the songs on the album. This was the first collaboration since World of Glass (2001)."

Equimanthorn is set to release the new album "A Fifth Conjuration" in October via Black Montanas/Metalhit. The band commented on the upcoming album:
"Most are bewildered and some have protested concerning the esotericism of Equimanthorn, presuming our extraneous song titles and writings to be no more than mysterious obliquity. While sensible to its creators, our writings have long been misunderstood or simply unintelligible to most. 'A Fifth Conjuration' transcends any mystical balderdash with a decisive and intentional approach: realigning the senses with their most natural state in the nervous system through the aid of sound.
"In this, our Fifth Conjuration, you will engage a journey of the slight and subtle where the senses may become aware of the silence from which sounds emerge and the spaciousness that resides between thought and stillness."
The track listing is as follows:
