Former Clutch Keyboardist Passes Away

Former Clutch keyboardist Mick Schauer has passed away, the band has revealed. While no details of his death have been revealed as of yet, the group paid tribute to their former comrade who was a member of the band from 2005 to 2008. A statement from Clutch reads as follows:

"We are saddened to hear the news of Mick Schauer’s passing. Mick was an incredible talent and he will be missed. His contribution to the albums Robot Hive Exodus and From Beale Street to Oblivion brought a new sound to the band at a time when the band sought to stretch into new territory. Mick helped us to achieve those goals and more. He was also a powerful force at our live shows. His natural ability was unmatched and his love for the music made us all play better. We are grateful for having had the opportunity to make music with you Mick!"

Within Temptation Announces Tour With Evanescence

Dutch symphonic metal outfit Within Temptation has announced that they will be joining forces with Evanescence for a co-headlining trek across Europe next April.

Says Within Temptation: "The word is out: we're joining forces with Evanescence for the Worlds Collide Tour - a massive co-headline European tour in April 2020! It was great meeting Amy and the rest of the band at Aarburg in Switzerland. We think we have a lot in common but most of all we share the same passion and fire for what we love doing most. We're really looking forward to touring Europe together and to make it memorable!"

Evanescence states: "We are very excited to join forces with Within Temptation for what I know will be an epic tour in April. We’ve had people ask us about doing something together for a long time, and we’re going to make it worth the wait! Looking forward to hearing Sharon’s gorgeous voice every night!"

Bury Your Dead Premiere New Video For “Magnolia“

A new live video of “Magnolia“/”Mosh N’ Roll” has premiered from Bury Your Dead‘s ‘Still Alive‘ performance. The clip was shot at the Chain Reaction in Anaheim, CA this past spring.

“Magnolia“/”Mosh N’ Roll” from the set in particular also saw Bury Your Dead reunited onstage by their ex-frontman Myke Terry (now Volumes). In other new the band‘s new EP “We Are Bury Your Dead” will hit stores on October 11th via Stay Sick Recordings.
