Stick To Your Guns Releases New Video

Stick To Your Guns just dropped the video for "Married to the Noise," an anthemic yet melodic, fist-pumping new track. The song lives on upcoming album "True View," due out October 13th via Pure Noise.

Vocalist Jesse Barnett told Loudwire, "The older I get, the more I'm met with 'Oh wow, you still do that?' or 'LOL, you still listen to that?' Every time, my answer is, 'Fuck yes.' This scene was never a phase for me. Through every amazing and horrible thing that has happened in my life, this music has been by my side. I'm so grateful to this music, for the people it brought into my life, the places it has taken me, and for the ethics that have shaped me. This may have been a passing phase for some people, but for me there was no other choice."

Stick to Your Guns will launch a coast-to-coast live assault, playing four shows on the East Coast and four shows on the West Coast. Three of the eight shows will also take place in Canada. Afterwords, STYG is confirmed for a winter 2018 tour with Architects (UK) and Counterparts. More...

Threat Signal Releases New Song

Canada's melodic thrash metal powerhouse Threat Signal today premieres the first single from fourth studio album, "Disconnect," which is set to be released on November 10th worldwide via Agonia Records.

The band's first new song in six years, "Exit The Matrix," is available in the form of a lyric video below. Founder & vocalist Jon Howard commented: "Well, we made it to album number 4! To say its been a tough ride would be an understatement, but as the shit piles on, we'll keep shoveling that shit off! So we began writing this album back in 2012, and continued writing over the next 3 years until we were able to hit the studio again.

"Basically our thought process while writing was to not have an end goal of what the album should sound like. We didn't plan to make a really heavy album, or a melodic album, or take anyone else's input on what we should sound like. We basically just wrote songs with a clear and open mindset until Disconnect grew together. This album ranges from melodic metal, to hard rock, to thrash metal, and even down to a chill acoustic tune, its a roller coaster of a ride while staying true to the Threat Signal sound.

"You will feel the energy from all of our previous albums plus something new. A big thanks to Agonia records for believing in us and finally getting this album released. Also a HUGE thanks to the fans for sticking with us over the years. I'd like to dedicate our album Disconnect to my fallen friend and former Threat Signal drummer Norm Killeen. May you be jamming with the best of them in the next life!!! Peace and love." More...

Ram Details New Album "Rod"

Swedish heavy metal crew Ram will release striking new album, "Rod," on November 3rd via Metal Blade Records. Check out a lyric video for the first single "Gulag" below.

Ram comments: "We are very proud to release our fifth studio album entitled 'Rod.' On this album for the first time ever we wrote a conceptual story over 6 songs, something that we always wanted to do but never got right. This album contains probably our most epic moments to date but it is still definitely heavy metal tyranny!"

Regarding the first single, Ram adds: "'Gulag' has a definite old-school European heavy metal vibe to it. The song shines a light on the hypocrisy of collectivism, and takes a stand for the one who lives and thinks for one self, not for ideology or dogmas of the masses. As one can see in the lyric video for the song most members of Ram were raised during the golden age of home computers!"

1. Declaration of Independence
2. On Wings of No Return
3. Gulag
4. A Throne at Midnight
5. Ramrod the Destroyer, Pt. 1: Anno Infinitus
6. Ramrod the Destroyer, Pt. 2: Ignitor
7. Ramrod the Destroyer, Pt. 3: The Cease to Be
8. Ramrod the Destroyer, Pt. 4: Voices of Death
9. Ramrod the Destroyer, Pt. 5: Incinerating Storms

Decapitated Issues Statement After Arrest

After being arrested for allegedly kidnapping and gang raping a fan on their tour bus, the members of Decapitated have now issued their first public statement. The group posted this message online via Facebook:

"While we are not perfect human beings, we are not kidnappers, rapists, or criminals. As such, we strongly deny the allegations that have recently been brought against us.

"We ask that everyone please reserve their judgement until a definitive outcome has been reached, as charges have yet to be pressed. Full testimony and evidence will be presented in due time, and we have faith in that process.

"As there is uncertainty regarding a timeline for prospective proceedings and out of respect for fans and promoters, due to the severity of the claims, we have cancelled all planned touring.

"All social media platforms have been temporarily disabled as they have been used as destinations for defamatory and malicious remarks. We would like to point out that the statements in the published police report were given prior to an arrest. At that point, no member of the band was aware of an active warrant being issued."

An in-depth (and extremely graphic) police report detailing the alleged events was also released and can be read here. The band was arrested in Santa Ana, California and is currently awaiting extradition back to Spokane to face criminal charges.

Hideous Rebirth Posts Lyric Video

Barbaric death-grinders Hideous Rebirth just premiered lyric video single "Desecration Seance," taken from the group's forthcoming album, "La Fosa Comun."

"It's about disgruntled spirits," states bassist/vocalist Cris Gutierrez, "luring us into their realm in order to take over our physical bodies and take their revenge on humanity. 'La Fosa Común" is a burial ground of unidentified people's who never really rested properly, so this ties into the album perfectly. Lyrics mixed with rituals, spirits, and brutality make a good fit for Hideous Rebirth."

New album "La Fosa Comun" is set for release October 27th, 2017 via Gore House Productions on CD and digital formats. Pre-orders are online here. More...

Klogr Premieres "Sleeping Through The Seasons"

This coming October 6th 2017, Italian alternative rock / metal crew Klogr will release new album "Keystone."

Despite all the prejudices around the alternative metal world, Klogr is a perfect example of a band that always knows how to conquer and keep the crowd faithful. Following previous album “Black Snow," Klogr is taking forward those ideals, giving voice to social and environmental themes. Band mastermind Rusty comments:

“Man proclaimed himself the 'Keystone' of our system but he is just a guest, a not-essential animal. Without a lot of underestimated living beings, like bees, the cycle of nature would suffer serious damages. The earth without human beings could exist, human beings without the earth, cannot.”

Today we're bringing you an exclusive premiere of new track "Sleeping Through The Seasons" via the official music video below, which was directed & edited by Flush Design, with video shooting by Roberto Zampa and Joba. The new album's track listing is as follows:

3. Technocracy
4. The Echoes of Sin
5. Pride Before the Fall
6. Something's in the Air
7. Drag You Back

Til Death Premieres "Never Be Broken"

Today we're stoked to bring you an exclusive first listen to "Never Be Broken," a new song from melodic metal quartet Til Death.

With high octane rock swagger and metal shredding solos, the song is an example of the band’s emotional but powerful songwriting. Taken from the band’s new EP "Photographs" EP, Dalton Jaimes (guitar) revealed that the song almost didn’t make the release:

“While listening to the first mix of the EP, a couple of the tracks seemed to fall short of our expectation. We agreed that either we revamp the tracks completely or write new tracks. ‘Never Be Broken’ fell into place both musically and lyrically and our producer was able to make it really shine.”

On the lyrics Mike Notte (vocals) said, “I was inspired by two films over the course of a year when writing this track. First was Legend which is about the Kray Brothers, the most notorious gangsters in the UK. What I took from there was the idea that even today what society views as the most revered and respected positions are usually just as corrupt as those who are viewed as the most despised. The second film is Split by M Night Shayamalan about someone who developed multiple personalities to protect himself. As someone who has struggled with depression and self-image issues I can definitely empathize. So really the message of the song for me is for society’s weak to topple the elite find your true self and your inner strength and then help the next person.

The "Photographs" EP was produced by Charles Kallaghan Massabo (Falling In Reverse, Davey Suicide) and drops digitally tomorrow (Friday, Sept 15th). Order your own at Bandcamp here and be sure to follow the latest on the band via Facebook.
