Tristania has issued the following announcement about adding on more Norwegian tour dates:
"The interest for Tristania in their home country after the Rubicon release has been increasing day by day, and now the band has added two more gigs for the Norway part of the Rubicon Tour. Tristania will be doing a special show when they visit Kristiansand, Norway on Thursday September 30th. It was recently confirmed that the band has accepted a proposal to do an Under 18 show at Bingen on the same date as the Kick Scene concert will take place. There will be organized a band contest by the promoter Bingen Booking, and one lucky young metal band will get the chance to support Tristania.
"We thought this was a nice thing to do. Kjetil knows about Bingen Booking from before, and they’ve organized similar gigs with other big Norwegian bands like Turboneger and Big Bang. This has turned out to be a great success for the kids, and we’re also hoping to give them a great gig which can be inspiring and overwhelming. The gig at Kick Scene will go ahead at the same time as planned. Also – it was today confirmed that Tristania will play at the legendary venue Pakkhuset in Farsund on October 2nd." More...
Atlanta's Withered has announced October 26th as the street date for "Dualitas," the band's third album, and second for Prosthetic Records. "Dualitas" was recorded by Kylesa’s Phillip Cope at the Jam Room in Columbia, SC. Withered is also set to head out on the "Blackest of the Black" tour Danzig, Possessed, Marduk, and Toxic Holocaust.
Guitarist/vocalist Mike Thompson commented on the tour: "Withered is bringing our brand of extreme music and expression to a new audience this fall. The Blackest Of The Black tour is an opportunity that we just couldn’t pass up. It is also a blessing for us after learning the unfortunate news about Behemoth & Nergal. This turn of events will allow us to offer a glimpse of unique perspective to a fresh crowd as we kick off our third album release. Whether these fans are ready for us or not, we are definitely ready for them and expect to expand their horizons as well as our own on this new path."

Italian black metallers ABORYM's fifth album will be out on next November 8th. The cover artwork of "Psychogrotesque," created by the band's leader Fabban himself, can be seen at this location.
The artist comments, "I realised the 'Pyschogrotesque' artwork as I was inspired by the lyrics and the story that are being told in this album, trying to "visualise" the sceneries and the mood of this all... On the cover there is the main character, his look is terrorised and lost. Below, the place where he is annihilated, the place where this story takes place: a mental home, the world where we live. Inside the artwork, I wanted to add some "Easter eggs", some tiny particulars with hidden messages... There are few of them scattered everywhere."
