Dehuman Reign Reveals New Album Details

It’s rising deep from the crypts of hell. Dehuman Reign, Berlin’s most brutal death metal commando is back in top shape with their second full length album titled "Descending Upon The Oblivious," which will hit stores October 23rd via FDA Records.

"Descending Upon The Oblivious" was recorded at Englsound Studio by Tobias Engl, mixed and mastered at Mastersound Entertainment by Alexander Krull (Atrocity, Leaves’ Eyes).

The cover artwork, which can be seen below, was created by Spanish artist Juanjo Castellano.

Entombed A.D. Vocalist Diagnosed With Cancer

L.G. Petrov, vocalist of Entombed A.D. and formerly Entombed, has revealed that he has been diagnosed with "uncurable" cancer. In a short message on his fundraising page, the forty eight year old vocalist informed fans that he had been battling the illness for some time:

"I’ve been hit with uncureable cancer (gallvägscancer in Swedish), and have been battling it for some time now. It can’t be removed but the doctors are trying to control it with chemo therapy. Life takes its weird turns... "

Petrov made his name as the vocalist of Entombed, one of Sweden's most revered death metal bands, appearing on all studio albums except for the sophomore full length, "Clandestine." In 2013, Petrov and other members of Entombed continued as Entombed A.D., who have to date released three albums. He is also known for his work with Firespawn, Comecon, Morbid and Nihilist.

Omega Diatribe Posts New Music Video Online

Hungarian groove metal outfit Omega Diatribe has posted a new music video online for the song, "Mirror Neuron." You can check it out below. The song is set to appear on their upcoming fourth album, "Metanoia," which will be released in September.

"'Mirror Neuron' is a hard hitting energy overdose which runs through your spine up to your pineal gland," explains the band. "If you want to get rid of all your negative energy and frustration, hit the play button and sing the words of 'Mirror Neuron'."

The guys are telling their true feelings about society right now with no compromise! The song has a unique structure with a heart-braking end. As they put it: "Making music is a part of our healing process, our songs are very therapeutic, and if it works for us it may be a help for others too".

Metanoia will be released in Europe and The UK on September 4th, and in Japan and North America on September 11th via Metal Scrap Records. More...

Former Agnostic Front Bassist Dead

Agnostic Front announce the passing of their ex-bassist Alan Peters, who performed with the group for several years in the late 1980s. Say the band in a post on their Facebook site:

“Today was a very sad day. We lost a solid a brother, a good friend, and a past bandmate who was part of the magic and making of our Liberty And Justice For… LP. Alan Peters is no longer with us. We would often see each other here and there mostly in Dallas. Last time he didn’t make the show and we figured we’d catch him a few months later. Sadly that never happened.
