Following the unveiling of the packaging and track listing of the "I Get Wet" 10th Anniversary deluxe edition last week, Andrew W.K. has given details of a super limited 500 double-disc autographed edition.
In addition to a special autographed 20-page booklet that accompanies the two discs, the 500 double-CD copies will include very unique personal items from the party king himself. These items, inserted at random, may include a piece of Andrew W.K.'s own personal, stage-worn and filthy white Levi's 501 jeans that were cut into 496 pieces. Three of the remaining limited packages will contain a lock of W.K.'s unwashed hair, while one lucky purchaser will receive an autographed airplane ticket stub that W.K. used to fly from Prague to New York City. Out of consideration for the recipients of his dirty jeans and hair, a Bloody Nose Air-Freshener will be included in all packages to help with any potential odors contained in the CD case.
"I wanted to give a piece of myself and this party to everyone who got one of these limited editions," explains W.K. "Originally, I had wanted to include used tissues and one of my hangnails, but I was told that international customs doesn't allow sending human flesh or bodily fluids in music packaging. So I decided to give the party people my dirty white jeans and hair instead. My jeans and hair give me party power-kind of like Dumbo's magic feather. They're blessed with the power of positive partying, and I hope that these objects bring even more magical partying to anyone who possesses them." More...

Blut Aus Nord has posted a teaser trailer online for the band's new album "777 - Cosmosophy," which can be viewed below. The album will be released in North America on October 9th, 2012. Debemur Morti Productions also commented on the release:
"The denouement. The calm after the storm (but, still, disquiet interrupts the serenity); when the floods have washed away the debris. The circle is closed. Haunting, dreamlike, an altered state has been achieved. All-knowing wisdom prevails. At one with all -- omniscient. Soaring, alive with insight, bursting with extra-ordinary energy. Almighty. At the centre of an infinite structure in perpetual deconstruction, '777 - Cosmosophy' represents the instinctive manifestation of human and obsolete conception of Time. Where the light feeds the darkness, where every second is the Eternity and sounds the death knell - the monumental work of the eccentric soul gets lost in a deep echo... and this echo is the sublime Sound of the Universe.
"A beautiful tragedy; a tragic beauty. Devastatingly restrained, the climactic movement in the monumental '777' trilogy represents the culmination of a rapturous evolutionary process. Arguably Blut Aus Nord's most-daring venture yet, the third and final chapter represents both the beginning and the end. Et le Chaos se tut..."

Throatruiner Records has issued the following announcement about releasing a self-titled LP from Bone Dance:
"Bone Dance, a ritually charged and menacingly DIY band seeped in all things heavy, is rising from the South Idaho desert with their first self-titled LP for Melotov Records (USA), Throatruiner Records & Prototype Records (Europe). Bone Dance takes the grime and gravelly glut of the band’s previous work, the self-released Snakecharmers, and reevaluates not only its intensity, but also the band’s heritage: retooling the ferocity of hardcore, the technical acumen of extreme metal, and the minimal gauze of sludge and doom.
"This is the kind of tight, controlled, anvil-heavy music that only comes out of an area dominated by the Religious Right, the Conservative Coalition, and some of the most culturally repressive mechanisms in America. Bone Dance acts as a document of this inheritance by time and place and on principle rejects all of it. As a combatant to the moderate veneer that glosses even the counterculture in their hometown of Boise, Bone Dance have crafted not a shield but a weapon against the repressive devices they so clearly detest.
"By deconstructing typical sludge breakdowns, by retooling blast beats into searing grooves, by inverting a biblical poetic into a sinister manifest of their body politic, Bone Dance forges a musical dialogue exemplifying the clash typical of the liberal-conservative head butting seen throughout misleading media; however, the band seems to reject even mainstream leftist views in favor of an utter desert-driven nihilism. Bone Dance proves yet again that the frontier isn’t innovation—the frontier is misery."

"Yuvraj is a stellar musician and we are very proud of the work we have accomplished together and ask for our fans and friends for their continued respect and support for both his and the our future endeavours.
"Undying Inc will continue to evolve and grow into the beast it is meant to be and we will continue to write new material for the upcoming EP, however the band will not be going live until a suitable replacement is announced. Dropbunny has released a new video for the track "There's Nothing Here And It Screams," which can be viewed below. The band also commented:
"The song is an attempt to recreate the music experienced independently by both bassist John Barrymore, and vocalist Xero. In Barrymore's case, he awoke completely paralyzed on three separate nights, with deafening, complex and terrifying music in his ears.
"He was trapped in that position for what seemed like hours, before the music slowly faded and he found himself able to move again. Xero's (much less frightening) experience was of finding a radio in a dream which played hypnotic music that 'kept rising out of almost white-noise, before descending again.' Finding that both of them had heard almost identical music, the band set out to make these sounds a reality.
"The filmclip features a re-imagining of a medieval southern Indian ritual which appeared in Frazer's 'The Golden Bough.' It combines extremes of hilarity and horror." More...

With roots in hardcore metal, metalcore, jazz fusion, and electronica, their sound embodies characteristics of them all, yet they find it is hard to categorize their music into one specific genre. Ultimately, they seek to send a message, and cause for their listeners to empathize with the emotions of their music; and hopefully provide something new and refreshing for them to enjoy."

According to a spokesperson from the Czech Republic prison system, Randy Blythe, lead singer of the American heavy metal outfit Lamb of God was finally released from jail yesterday, after being held on a manslaughter charge.
"The decision was reached yesterday at the end of a 16-hour closed session. The only condition of release was the approximately 8 million Czech Koruna bail," Prague court spokeswoman Martina Lhotáková said.
He is expected to return home to the United States, but will have to return to the Czech Republic to face trial.
"That’s what he wants to do," Blythe’s Czech attorney Martin Radvan told Radio Prague, "As a world-renowned artist, in a specific genre of music, of course, he cannot afford to simply disappear. There are posters with his picture all around the world, and if he wants to continue performing, he will have to return. And he wants to return because he believes he is not guilty of anything he has been charged with."
Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe was arrested in June on charges of manslaughter stemming from a "tragic incident" in Prague at a Lamb of God performance on May 24, 2010, which led to a death.
More information will be revealed as soon as it becomes available.
