"Lauded as 'a stunning, full and complex album that is a must-have for any fan of the genre; by Metal Temple, 'Exilium' knows no boundaries as it stretches the band’s limits to a whole new level. The record has been hailed as the band’s best effort to date from several notable press outlets (Metal Hammer, Rockzone, Metalbite), while No Clean Singing dubs it 'an album forged by experts at their craft who knew exactly how to kick out music of fury, fire and war.'
"Having once again worked with Cardoso to produce and master their latest offering 'Exilium,' Noctem will now set their sights on dominating the extreme metal scene throughout North America with the help of Prosthetic Records, which will release the album with two bonus tracks."

London's Amulet will release full-length debut, "The First," on September 22nd in Europe and October 21st in North America (digital only) via Century Media Records. For a preview of "The First," the album's first single, "Mark Of Evil" can be heard below. Century Media also comments:
"With the brawling street spirit of early 80's metal, Amulet capture the sound of classic metal, but more importantly, they bring the feeling of fist-to-the-chops-and-don't-spill-my-pint grit firmly into the 21st century. Formed in 2010, the group is comprised of friends who met at various shows over the years and realized that they all wanted to make the same powerful and honest music.
"Their demo tape/7", Cut The Crap (2011), sold out quickly, and soon after that, Amulet began supporting bands like Pagan Altar, Manilla Road, and The Sword and playing festivals like Bloodstock (UK), Hell's Pleasure (Germany) and Muskelrock (Sweden).
"On their upcoming effort, The First, fans can expect more of the classic British steel that's found on their highly sought after demo: catchy vocals, heavy riffs, soaring leads and bone-shaking bass, driven to the limit with pounding drums." More...

Today, the Obscure Vanity label announces September 2nd as the release date for Ebauche Noire's debut, "Pochoir De Cendre."
Set to be released on cassette tape and including a woven Ebauche Noire patch, "Pochoir De Cendre" comprises two tracks with a total running time of nearly 43 minutes. Pre-orders are available at this location, and Obscura Vanity comments:
"Formed in 2013 from the ashes of Alienante Damnation, Ebauche Noire leaves behind the conventional, traditional black metal genre and brings forth new ideas in outstanding songwriting and interpretation. A unique journey through quietude, innocence, nostalgia, and evanescent essences, the two extended passages that make up Pochoir De Cendre drift through melancholic black metal moods and emotional catharsis. Spearheaded by multi-instrumentalist and black metal luminary Adrien Weber (Lord Genocide, Vociferian, Macabra, Alienant Damnation), Belgium’s Ebauche Noire is a new scion of cold and melodic post-black metal."

Two seminal albums by metal pioneers Corrosion of Conformity (C.O.C.) — the 1991 landmark "Blind" and the 1994 follow-up "Deliverance" – will be reissued on vinyl by Prosthetic Records this Fall.
While an exact release date has not yet been confirmed, both titles — limited to 1,000 copies each — are currently available for pre-order in the Prosthetic webshop. Prosthetic Records also comments:
"Freshly inducted into Decibel Magazine’s Hall of Fame, 'Blind' — originally released on Relativity Records — signified an important transition for C.O.C., as the group began to move away from their crossover past toward a more streamlined, metallic thrash sound. Hailed by All Music Guide as 'one of the most important heavy rock albums of the decade,' the album saw the addition of guitarist Pepper Keenan and yielded two notable singles: 'Dance of the Dead' and 'Vote With A Bullet.'
"Previously unreleased on vinyl in North America, 'Blind' will be reissued as a gatefold double-LP available in three different 180-gram colors: purple (approx. 700 copies), black (approx. 200 copies) and clear (approx. 100 colors). A color lyric insert and liner notes by music journalist Chris Dick will also be included, as will three bonus tracks from the 1995 Columbia Records re-release of the album." More...

Skeletonwitch guitarist Nate “N8 Feet Under” Garnette says, ”This video was a hell of a lot of fun to shoot and is saturated with fake blood — or is it? — as well as torture. My favorite part was getting to hose off a bloody-ass Chance (Garnette, vocals) with freezing cold water. I normally would have gotten beaten up for that, so it was a nice treat. Enjoy!” More...

Check out the track in the player below. Guitarist Jacob Wright also comments on the song release:
"We chose Ageless Stranger to be the opening track on our new album Cynosure because it is high energy and hard hitting. Master sound conspirator, Tristan Shone, will bring his cacophonous manifestation of cold, mechanical doom known as Author & Punisher to the streets in the coming months for a clobbering run of live takeovers.

Formed by Rammstein's Richard Kruspe, Emigrate has now set October 21st as the release date for the band's new studio album - the follow up to the previous 2007 self-titled debut.
Titled "Silent So Long," this sophomore outing - produced by Emigrate and mixed in Los Angeles by Ben Grosse (Marilyn Manson, Slipknot, Disturbed, etc.) - features 11 brand new recordings, with a lead single / video to be announced shortly.
As with the debut, Kruspe adds to his guitar playing / song-writing duties by stepping up to the mic, only this time he's joined by a number of guest singers: Lemmy from Motörhead, Korn's Jonathan Davis, Marilyn Manson, Canadian born Berlin-dweller, Peaches, plus Frank Dellé from chart-topping German collective Seeed.
"I didn't write the songs with specific guests in mind," explains Kruspe, "I just thought who would do the best job on this or that track, and the final performances were everything I was hoping for. You know, I've had about five moments in my music career when I've been left smiling like a child - one was when Rammstein sold out New York's Madison Square Garden in 20 minutes (2010), but the last one was hearing Lemmy on tape. It just sounds fucking great! I wrote him a really long message and he came back 'alright!' Fantastic!"
For Kruspe, still firmly ensconced within the Rammstein ranks, Emigrate has never been a side or a solo project. Preferring to tap into the energy of a team, and looking to revive the collaborative spirit of the East German punk scene he grew from, the guitarist has always put value on those around him, and this time - in addition to the existing personnel of guitarist / producer Olson Involtini and bassist / co-conspirator Arnaud Giroux - he's joined by drummers Mikko Sirén (Apocalyptica) and Joe Letz (Combichrist). After previously announcing a September release date, Portuguese death metal band Annihilation has revealed that new EP "The Undivided" will come out November 4th, 2014. The band's founder Fabio Da Silva comments:
"We are proud to announce the release of our new EP The Undivided . Consisting of six songs, the EP is a precursor to our next full-length which will be one song connected by three parts. We have been working on these songs for the last two years and there is a big evolution between this EP and our first album Against The Storm.
"The songs are more technical, dissonant and intricate then our debut album. Lyrically I spent a lot of time researching and working on the lyrics. The EP and the album focus on my vision about humanity as energy beings all connected to one source of energy. One conscious entity that connects all beings into one. An entity that has been separated from his source and originated the human species, the voyage of part of that consciousness when the human being faces death and finally connects again with the source."
The track listing is:
1. The Undivided...
2. Holographic Paradigm
3. Transcending Consciousness
4. Feeding the Void
5. The Great Cycle
