U.K. prog metallers hAND are currently in the midst of writing their as-yet-untitled third album. It will be a concept album exploring the nature and fluidity of sexuality, as well as differing relationship structures between human beings. The band recently commented:
"Currently we are half way done with writing the new album, with lots of further ideas and demos floating around for the remaining half. One of the tracks we have been working on is Chiptune inspired; we’ve been having a lot of fun utilizing synths and different effects to get a quirky and fun sound for that track. On others we've stripped it right back to just Kat and a piano, we wanted to get some real emotional depth in this piece. It is a broad subject to approach, but we feel the end result will be an interesting and engaging experience.”
A free download of the demo version for the song "Anthem" off the upcoming album is available from the band's official website. hAND is a 3 piece, female fronted progressive rock / metal band from Sussex. The group's second album “Breathing” was released in 2011 via Femme Metal Records and Brutal Elite Records.
The Chariot, which is heading out on tour with Hundredth and Impending Doom this October, has debuted a brand new track titled "In" via Altpress.com. Click here to listen to the track. "This song was originally going to be the opening track to 'One Wing.' It was a last minute decision to move it further in down list, and I think it was for the better." says frontman Josh Scogin. The Chariot will release "One Wing" on August 28th, 2012.
Scogin continues, "The song still has the strength of an opener but this record is a journey and for that reason alone it belongs at track 7. One Wing was designed to be heard in chronological order but having said that, I think this song does a pretty good job standing all alone as well."

This is one of the very last shows the band played with Michael.

New York's In The Casket has issued the following announcement about lineup changes within the band:
"We may as well let everyone know what is going on with the band since we made some changes. We have parted ways with our bass player Joe, it was a mutual decision and he is leaving the band on good terms with no hard feelings on either side. Joe is really busy now and just doesnt have the time.
"Kyle has moved over to bass to replace Joe so we no longer have a keyboard and third guitar, so we are looking for a full time keyboardist. We had our first practice with Kyle on bass last night and he will be playing his first show with us on bass this coming Tuesday at The Loft in Poughkeepsie with Fleshgod Apocalypse, Kataklysm, Vital Remains, Rose Funeral, and Necroptic Engorgement (Music Page).
"Kyle is more comfortable playing bass so it was the natural thing to do. We want to thank Joe for his time in the band and he will be missed."
