Luca Turilli's Rhapsody proudly announced that guitarist Dominique "Dodo" Leurquin will make his stage debut with the band since suffering a career threatening injury in a chainsaw accident nearly two years ago. The debut will be at the Made of Metal festival in Hodonin, Czech Republic on Friday, August 15th.
The announcement reads:
"DODO IS BACK!!!
"The show of the MADE OF METAL festival on August 15th (Hodonin, Czech Republic) will be very important also because it will be the first show where DOMINIQUE LEURQUIN will perform with us on stage since the new Luca Turilli’s RHAPSODY band was created.
"Last time, just before the ASCENDING TO INFINITY CINEMATIC TOUR started, he thought to play with a chainsaw, he almost lost his hand and risked to end his artistic career forever. Then, thanks to a real miracle and his perseverance he won his challenge.
"No worries… this time we took care of him…a straitjacket and a special room for psychopaths were enough to ensure he didn’t play with chainsaws or even with forks and knives.
"So we should finally have him back in Rhapsody after all this time… we missed him so much.
Welcome back, mighty DODO. RHAPSODY needs all your talent!" More...

"Test pressings of the LP arrived the other day and it sounds fantastic. I mean, it was not like magical steel butterflies swarmed out of the speakers just because it was vinyl, but it is pretty cool to hear our hard work cut to wax. Really excited for the release of this one and getting the full 12 inches of artwork for the first time.
We are scheduled to release on August 26th, although it could be a few days after that when the LPs actually arrive. In any event we will take orders via Bandcamp from that day and you will get an immediate download of the album."

UK's blackened death metal horde Sidious has announced the identity of the drummer who joined the band under a veil of secrecy earlier this year when the band began work on its debut full-length.
The mysterious skinsman has been revealed as Krhudd, the mastermind and sole member of Colosus, who released its digital-only debut, "Blastem," last year on Kaotoxin Records. Other roster shifts have seen guitarist Isfeth take over vocal duties after the departure of vocalist Tom "Void" Allen.
Sidious, featuring members of funeral doomsters Eye Of Solitude, took the underground by storm in 2013 with their debut EP, "Ascension to the Throne Ov Self." The new lineup has spent the last 12 months hard at work on their full-length debut.
The album was recorded, mixed and mastered by world-renowned producer Russ Russell (Dimmu Borgir, Napalm Death) at Parlour Studios and is set for release this fall on Kaotoxin Records.
With the release of Malpractice's fourth studio full-length, "Turning Tides," just over a month from release via Sensory Records, the album's first single has been released online.
Listen to "Weight Of The World" at Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles here. Sensory Records will release "Turning Tides," the first ever worldwide release from Finnish progressive thrash metal outfit Malpractice, on September 16th, 2014.
Recorded by the members of the band -- the lineup featuring members of renowned metal acts Omnium Gatherum and Insomnium -- at various locations, "Turning Tides" was produced by the band's Joonas Koto and Toni Paananen and engineered by Koto, then mixed and mastered by Anssi Kippo at Astra-Studio A. Towers Of Flesh, the blackened death metal trio comprised of members from core bands within the United Kingdom's extreme metal scene, has completed work on its second album, "Antithetical Conjurations."
The album contains six tracks, clocks in around 40 minutes and wastes no time infusing menacing harmonies with discordant rhythms, conjuring an image for all to see, but none to hear. their own conclusions rather than making any grand claims about the vitality of the album.
The dynamic of the trio is invariably different from many of their contemporaries since all instrumental duties are handled exclusively by two members. In addition to this; the band is fairly exclusive with regards to live dates, albeit unintentionally, it seems as though appearances on the local and national circuit are rare.
However, all members are linked to other bands within the UK's underground music scene and seem to have come together in order to amalgamate their influences in the hope of creating something fresh and stimulating for the listener.
Artwork for "Antithetical Conjurations" comes courtesy of Aisha Louisa Al-Sadie. The album was written and recorded by Anil Carrier at Darksound Studios in Wolverhampton.
"Antithetical Conjurations" is set for worldwide release on September 15th via Candlelight Records. Pre-order the album at the links below and also stream the title track and one other song, "Veiled Conception."
