Arch Enemy Postpones North American Tour

Swedish death metal veterans Arch Enemy has announced that their scheduled tour of North America, which was to also include Goatwhore and Uncured, has been pushed back to 2019. A statement from the band reads as follows:

"We very much regret to inform you that we will be postponing our return to North America until 2019. We were looking forward to seeing everyone again this fall and to share our stage with Goatwhore and Uncured, but we have been forced to cancel this run due to reasons beyond our control. It’s very unfortunate timing, but we cannot wait to come back and rock US soil again next year and see all your faces! Thank you for understanding and as always for your support of Arch Enemy! Ticket and VIP refunds are available at point of purchase."

Says Goatwhore drummer Zack Simmons: "Fuckin lame but oh well. Out of our control. Stay tuned for some tour news very soon!"

Grim Reaper Announces North American Tour

Steve Grimmett‘s Grim Reaper will tour North America starting in New Hampshire on September 27, 2018 and wrap up with a two night stint at The Whisky A Go Go in Los Angeles.

Dissonance Productions released the long awaited album from Steve Grimmett‘s Grim Reaper entitled ’Walking In The Shadows‘ almost two years ago. It was the band‘s first new recording since 1987‘s Rock You To Hell.

Grim Reaper‘s story begins in 1979 after successfully fighting off hundreds of bands in a local Battle Of The Bands competition. This win, combined with an already sizeable following, aroused the interest of Ebony Records. Signing with the small UK label, Grim Reaper released three albums in rapid succession to international acclaim. Due to legal turmoil with Ebony, Grim Reaper would disband in 1988. Grimmett would go on to record with Onslaught, Lionsheart, and more recently The Sanity Days debut Evil Beyond Belief. His renowned vocal range remains one of metal‘s most identifiable with loyal fans turning out in numbers to hear him perform. More...
