Italian death metal band Death Of All Gods has inked a deal with WormHoleDeath for the release of massive debut album "Different Ways Of Feeling Pain" world-wide through The Orchard as a digital download. The album is due out 07/08/2013 and you can also stream a preview below.
Death Of All Gods comments: "We are so proud of being part of the WormHole Death roster! Those guys are extremely professional and they really trust in our work and in our potential; we’re sure it’ll be a great collaboration, which starts with Different Ways Of Feeling Pain."
WormHoleDeath A&R “Worm” stated: “Yes, it’s true! I was so excited when Luigi from DOAG contacted me in search of a digital release. It is somehow something new for Wormholedeath to release an album via digital download only since I’ve always seen this idea like a great idea! It is not better or worse than a 'normal' CD release… It’s just different. I see a different potential in a digital release since everything is going to be faster. Of course many bands asked us to get this kind of deal but we were waiting for the right album to make this new idea like real. In fact Death Of All Gods are signed to our label under all effects, like all the other bands, they just decided that they didn’t care about having the hard copy cd on the market and as long as they were the right band to work with we said yes. Preview their song and you will understand why!” More...

California's Gravehill is currently working on a new album, and has now checked in with the following update about J. Corpsemolester recording bass for the release:
"Studio update: Corpse entered the studio last week to lay down bass tracks. Unfortunately he was way too high on a cocktail of drugs to keep time with anything for a majority of it.
"The first night he vomited up a burrito, passed out in his own filth, and woke to the tender caress of a homeless man stroking his vomit-smeared cheek and whispering sweet nothings in his ear. Luckily for Corpse, he has tenure in Gravehill so we can't fire him.
"Oddly enough his drug-fueled recording sessions almost scared the rest of the band straight. Almost. Next up...rhythm guitars!"
Stay up-to-date with the descriptive recording updates over at Gravehill's Facebook profile here.
Progressive death metal act Barren Earth has checked in with the following announcement about parting ways with the band's vocalist:

"We will keep working on new material, and will launch search for a new vocalist shortly. Barren Earth wants to thank Mikko for his crucial input for Barren Earth's works and wishes him all the best in the future."
Hells Headbangers has announced October 31st, that most unhallowed 'n' unholy of days, as the release date for Nekrofilth's "Devil's Breath" CD/LP. The following press release was issued about the coming CD:
"These Cleveland filth-bangers might've made a foul 'n' furious impression with their Worship Destruction 2008 demo that was re-released by Hells Headbangers, but with their debut album Devil's Breath, Nekrofilth have truly come into their own as one of the meanest, dirtiest metal bands around.
"Led by founding degenerate Zack Rose, Nekrofilth's debut album mainlines - and MEANLY - raging old-school thrash, hardcore-punk, and grind into a cantankerous-yet-catchy fist to the face of all that's kind and clean...as if song titles like 'Junkie Slut,' 'Smear the Sleaze,' 'Volcanic Zit,' and 'Scum Freak' already didn't say enough. This is the smell of Devil's Breath! Cover and tracklisting to be revealed shortly, but in the meantime, three of Devil's Breath's tracks can be previewed below.": More...
