The Illinois rock band, Slam Bang, have released a video for "Naked And Stoned", the first single from their new album, 'Everyday Is A Party.’ The song was written about the hot summer nights in Chicago. For those that have experienced those hot summer nights in Chicago you know that includes high humidity. This has nothing to do with the video, but it is awful and equally as bad as those long winter nights that bring thirty below wind chills. More...

“In horror, we are joined together to unveil the ‘Never Live Again’ music video,” proclaims Ancient VVisdom vocalist Nathan Opposition as he reveals the haunting clip for the occult/dark rock group’s new single, taken from sophomore release “Deathlike.”
Directed by Nathan Daughdrill (Neight Media), “Never Live Again” can be seen below, courtesy of Bloody Disgusting.
“In this video,” says Opposition, “we wanted to portray horror and the fine art of self-awakening. The executioner stands as the final act of judgment upon your mortal existence. Because we’re all dying to live, I challenge the listeners and viewers to go beyond the realms of their own consciousness to expand the mind into a new positive reality while they still have time. Inspired by Black Sabbath’s ‘Killing Yourself To Live,’ I wrote this song to invoke change. I believe this generation needs to learn a thing or two about their own existence.” More...

"Our new album, Hellbound, is an accumulation of everything we love about heavy music. You'll find nods to Converge, Gojira, Isis, Ion Dissonance, 90s Florida death metal, Swedish melodic death and modern deathcore (the good kind, if thats such a thing). It's hard to classify but it's extremely aggressive and I feel very uncomfortable yet very satisfied listening to it. We hope you enjoy it too. See you on the road." More...

As West Coast gore crew Exhumed prepares to drop a fifth official studio full-length, "Necrocracy," upon society in two weeks, today the title track of the splatter platter has been exposed through Invisible Oranges. Give the song a listen below.
Stated founding mouth/throat/axe Matt Harvey on the track’s creation: “Not only is this the title track for our new record (duh), it was the first song we finished putting together for the writing process and helped set the tone for the record. It's big, nasty and heavy, like your weird drunk aunt that smells like Funyons and laughs too loud at Thanksgiving dinner. This one has a little of everything, dual geetar action, fist pumping build ups, rapid fire drum fills and all the gore and grime you've come to expect from an exhumed track. Check it out and piss off some neighbors!”
Exhumed's ongoing European Takeover is wrapping up this week, to be immediately followed by an official LA release party for "Necrocrac"y on August 8th. The Fall months will see the bastards hitting the streets again for a month-long North American trek with labelmates Dying Fetus. More...
