The Convalescence Releases New Video

Recent Unique Leader signees The Convalescence will release new album "This Is Hell" via Unique Leader Records on September 1st, 2017.

The ten-track offering was produced by John Burke (Forever In Terror, Captain Kid), at Vibe Studios, mixed and mastered by Christian Donaldson (Cryptopsy, Despised Icon, Beyond Creation) at The Grid and comes wrapped in the macabre cover art of Coki Greenway.

In advance of its release, today the band is pleased to unveil a disturbing visual accompaniment to latest album single "Scum" - check it out in the YouTube clip below. You can also catch the band live on these upcoming tour dates:

Hexenklad Announces "Spirit Of The Stone"

The story of Canadian blackened folk metal crew Hexenklad began with the planting of a seed, an idea to create a band that was as deep in meaning and feeling as it was heavy and aggressive in sound.

Over time, this seed grew to envelope the forest floor, sprouting new life in its terrestrial journey. Of interesting note, the band features within its ranks both father and son - the old, wisdom-endowed seed and seedling, working together to germinate this Northern boreal with new life.

Out of this was born "Spirit Of The Stone," the band's debut album that will officially drop July 28th via CDN Records. Check out the song "Returned" below and you can pre-order the album right here.

The Bronx Premieres New Song "Sore Throat"

Los Angeles based punk/metal band The Bronx premieres a new song entitled "Sore Throat", taken from the upcoming new album "V", which will receive a September 22nd release date. The album was produced by Rob Schnapf (Beck, Elliot Smith) while David Hidalgo Jr. handled the studio drumming.

Marty Friedman (Ex-Megadeth) Debuts New Track

Marty Friedman (Ex-Megadeth) debuts a new track entitled "Sorrow And Madness", taken from the upcoming new album "Wall Of Sound", which will be out in stores August 04th via Prosthetic Records. This song features a guest turn from Black Veil Brides guitarist Jinxx, who recorded violin on the song. Among the core recording lineup for the band were drummers Anup Sastry (ex-Monuments) and Greg Bisonnette and bassist Kiyoshi. Guest performers, besides Jinxx, Deafheaven guitarist Shiv Mehra on "Pussy Ghost" and Shining (NOR) frontman Jørgen Munkeby on "Something To Fight", which is the only track on the album to feature vocals.
