Visions Of Atlantis Reveals New Album Details

Visions Of Atlantis will release a new album titled Wanderers on August 30th via Napalm Records. Following their chart breaking album "The Deep & The Dark" (2018), the band adds another spectacular album to their repertoire.

"Wanderers" is Visions Of Atlantis’ seventh album. The listener will be taken on a journey into the breathtaking depths of the symphonic metal universe. Wanderers offers a captivating musical and lyrical journey across the untamed seas along a powerful path towards self-discovery. It’s armed with amazing duets by Clémentine Delauney and Michele Guaitoli and is one of the most intense and profound symphonic metal albums the world has seen (or rather, heard) in the past 15 years.

Visions Of Atlantis really went all-in regarding their promotional photoshoot for the album. They chose a deserted beach along the coast of the vast Atlantic Ocean, including stranded pirate ships and a harsh coastline created by the elements. It is quite obvious why the Peninsula of Quiberon was the perfect destination for this photo shoot: the natural light and rough seas supplied a beautiful backdrop and the pictures capture the vision of Wanderers perfectly.

Abbath Posts Full Album Stream Online

Norwegian black metal titans Abbath are now streaming their entire new album, "Outstrider," in full. The album is set for worldwide release this Friday, July 5. The new offering can be heard via the official Season of Mist YouTube channel or by clicking the video below.

Abbath comments on the album: "Abbath, honed sharp by trial and terror, proudly present 'Outstrider' - our latest catharsis wrung from the guts of darkness. Forged in fiery furnace of adversity, hammered on an anvil of rage, this album is conjured from conflagration coughed from rift of Chaos, rising like a Phoenix from the Pit, to infect our Spitegeist with shamaniacal reflections sheathed in metal compositions, hooked and riffed by razor wire licks impaling bass-lines pulsed on drumbeats dredged from thunderous abyss, by a hive-mind wed to one whole emission: To boldly go where no band has gone before and one step further!" Amulet Posts New Music Video Online

As Amulet's acclaimed new album "The Inevitable War" is released on vinyl via Dissonance/Back on Black, the band premiere a full new music video for their epic English Civil War era track "Roundhead" album closer. You can watch the video below.

Marek 'Heathen' Steven from the band comments; "'Roundhead' is the key track on the album and it has a great historical theme so we wanted a suitably epic video. Looking into it, the long-established and brilliant 'The Sealed Knot' English Civil War re-enactment company had a - perfectly timed - huge public event in April at historic Basing House in Hampshire.

"The house is a palace that was razed by Cromwell's parliamentarian forces during one of the largest sieges of the civil war. The ruins are still there and the original 'Great Barn' is completely intact. The Sealed Knot and Hampshire Cultural Trust allowed us full access to the House, the Great Barn plus their event generally and troops. We had very great time making it in such a beautiful and historic location and we enjoyed hanging out with the Knot troops too with many ales drunk that night. Roundhead!" More...
