The album was recorded and mixed by Greg Wilkinson at Earhammer Studios (Vastum, Necrot, Ghoul), mastered by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege (Nails, Obituary, Black Breath), and completed with artwork by Adam Burke (Occultation, Loss, Gatecreeper, Artificial Brain).

Soul Enema Issues New Video Clip

Heroes and villians are fighting the world in a mystic conspiracy thriller, coming from the factory of an Israeli Progressive band Soul Enema. "Spymania" is a part of a new album "Of Clans and Clones and Clowns," released back on June 23rd via InsideOutMusic. The colorful and diverse 73-minute work features guest appearances from Arjen Lucassen (Ayreon) and Yossi Sassi (ex-Orphaned Land) and was mixed by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Devin Townsend).

"As it turns out, an evil reptilians from planet Nibiru came down to Earth, and they are very close to get the key to universal knowledge. The super-human powers of Batman and Chuck Norris stand on their way, but it turns out, that only something related to the world of music is able to save the human race. What is it? Watch out till the end!,” the band commented.

"We used some paintings of a brilliant modern Russian artist Vasya Lozhkin, who's a big phenomenon in his home country, but still not really known in the Western World yet,” says songwriter and keyboard player Constantin Glantz, adding, “I must state that ‘Spymania' has some amusing background. The lyrics for this song were written way back in 2006, or maybe even earlier, and it features a kind of goofy, paranoid mock story about someone being mysteriously thrown down from the roof of Empire State Building, and seen too much things you ain't allowed to see, while flying down to the ground. So much, in fact, that this person was forcefully killed even before he naturally hit the ground. Fast forward to the year 2015, and guess what — suddenly we have a totally real conspiracy scandal taking place around the same Empire State Building during a big ecological happening, when some claimed there's Kali or Satan images projected on a building windows, as part of some mystic apocalyptic ritual! The Hell you know, indeed."

"After our show at Gothic meets Classic and when we started to re-arrange our songs with a symphonic orchestra in 2014 for the first Swan Songs release back in early 2015, this album turned out as a huge success. Sold out shows, many emotions and tears behind, on and in front of the stage, it's been a very touching record for us & our fans, so that kept motivating us as well as in our creative freedom to release the next chapter of new songs you won't hear as normal rock versions, and what should become "Swan Songs II"."

Slough Feg Rejoins Cruz Del Sur Music

San Francisco true metal troubadours Slough Feg has rejoined Italy's Cruz Del Sur Music, the label behind the band's heralded "Atavism" (2005), "Hardworlder" (2007) and "Ape Uprising!" (2009) albums. The upcoming new release "The New Organon" will be the first to forge to the reunion.

Comments vocalist/guitarist Mike Scalzi: "We are happy to announce that we are back with Cruz Del Sur Music and will begin recording a new album in July! We believe that a smaller 'boutique' label such as Cruz Del Sur is appropriate for our sound, fanbase and work ethic, and look forward to working with Enrico [Leccese] and company again."

"I am extremely excited to have Slough Feg back on Cruz Del Sur!" says Leccese. "It is always nice when bands you like track you down. It's even more special when it's someone you've worked with for about ten years and established a friendly relationship. It's a recognition that we were doing something right in the past. I can't wait to hear the new album and share it with the metal world."

Continues Scalzi: "The new album will be called 'The New Organon', and the songs are somewhat of a return to the heavier side of our sound: more rustic, heavy, churning, medieval/Celtic and proggy sounding riffs, as opposed to the more '70s rock sounds of more recent albums. But don't worry: there will be a couple of rockers as well! We will also have some newer, experimental songwriting styles, mixing heavy rock and metal with the melodic sounds of '50s and '60s pop. Imagine Del Shannon singing for Blue Cheer! After all, it wouldn't be a Slough Feg album without some bizarre surprises!

"So, journey we more into the vaults of the Voi-vaudevillian...the Epic-cure for all Epicurean Angst and Ennui. The Celtic cacophony continues!"

Stay tuned for more information. More...

Fallujah Parts Ways With Vocalist

Progressive death metal masters Fallujah released the following statement: "It is with a heavy heart that we announce the departure of our vocalist and friend, Alex Hofmann. A decade-long journey has just ended for one of our founding members, and now he begins a new path separate from our own. His dedication and creativity have been a vital part of Fallujah for the last ten years, but we respect his decision and support him wholeheartedly.

"'The Dreamless' touring cycle has been our longest and most challenging yet; taking us across the planet with bands we respect and admire while moulding this band into a brotherhood. These experiences have brought us together and proven that this is what we are meant for. Alex’s departure will bring a new period of growth and we intend to come out of it with something ground-breaking for our fans.

"We will have a special guest taking over vocals for our festival run in Europe as well as our North American tour with Decapitated and Thy Art Is Murder. When we return to California, we will continue writing our new album and begin our search for a new vocalist. We invite all of our local friends and fans to join us in sending Alex off at Bay Area Death Fest; his last show, but a new beginning for us in Fallujah."

Hofmann added: "The reasons for my departure are both complicated and difficult to summarise; but one thing I know now is that in order to begin a new chapter in life, you must inevitably close the previous one. More...
