We have sent this bad boy off to be mixed and we will have something finished and in hand by June 26! This album changed so much through the writing and recording process. We hope you all get stoked because this is the best and heaviest haste the day album to date. There may or may not be an old favorite redone for this album ;-)

The band on commented on the release of "Smile Like A Wolf":
"Dear lovers & fighters,
In times when the music industry is stumbling across its own feet, it is time to break new ground. As a band you have 2 choices, you either play the game by the old rules hoping you're one of the few at the mercy of the old marketing and promotion strategies. Or you can trailblaze your own pathway through the ever-changing music business jungle.
"Sounds a lot like biz-talk, but in the end it's all about you, the fan, the listener, the fuel that keeps The Blackout Argument running. We have toured with Boy Sets Fire, Parkway Drive, This is Hell, just to name a few, played shows all over Europe, we have various releases out on great independent labels, a ongoing record deal with Lifeforce Records, got massive press attention all over the place, worked with some of the most renowned designers and have a long list of partners and supporters. Yet still, this is all about you. It's you who we are trying to reach with our message and music. More...

Tunelab Music reports that Stone Temple Pilots front-man Scott Weiland appeared thinner than normal, confused, and mumbling to the crowd in Holmdel, New Jersey on Saturday night May, 31st. Weiland noted that this was a hometown show for half of the band, the brothers Robert and Dean DeLeo, who play bass and guitar. “Sometimes you make crazy choices,” Weiland said, in a distinctly undefiant tone.”I apologize for …” he started to add. “Apology accepted, brother,” Robert DeLeo said quickly, changing the subject and hustling on with the show.
Fans have reported that it took the band over an hour just to hit the stage after it was setup for them.
Dead City is currently in Little Rock, AR recording their debut full-length with Barry Poynter (Zao, Living Sacrifice). Titled "Goddamn the 21st Century," the effort will surface later this year via an undetermined record label. Interested parties should contact the group on their MySpace page.
