Each week we check in with hard rock and metal acts to get their pit stories from memorable live shows. Metal gigs may be home to intense moshing and shredding solos, but it's also a place where magic can happen and love can blossom. Of course, none of that will be happening in this week's pit stories.
Today we've got two stories of love gone wrong at metal shows from Unsu and Insain, which both signed to Kaotoxin Records earlier this year. First up is Unsu, with the following tale of a strip tease that ended up showing more than the audience was expecting:
Once there was a girl in the audience. She climbed on the stage and started to strip. She actually was a guy in fishnets, in fact. So, during the whole stong, I've played with his balls with the microphone. This actually was at the Lille WinterFest #1 in Lille and you can hear Micky screaming "Elle a une bite!," which translates in "Sha has a dick!" on the bonus live tracks of "The Filthy."
Vocalist Louis from Insain also had this story to share of missing a few not-so-subtle hints from a female fan: More...

After two years of silence Polish death metal act Hellspawn strikes a ferocious blow with a second album entitled "The Great Red Dragon." The album premieres on June 6th, 2012 and you can check out the new song "Diabolic" in the player below.
The material was recorded, engineered, mixed, and mastered in Hellspawn Studio by the frontman of the band, Mariusz Konieczny. The band commented:
"In the realm of extreme music there are some who stride towards maximum brutality, and there are some who stride towards technical perfection. There are also some, like Hellspawn, who do not care much about any of the above, and yet create death metal which does not lack anything and still has much more to offer.
"The Great Red Dragon is a perfect example of why there should be no distinction between old and new schools of extreme metal, as it is an uncompromising album which cannot be dismissed under many labels. If you’re a fan of Morbid Angel, Angel Corpse, Diabolic or Hate Eternal, the album is mandatory for you!"
The album's track listing is as follows:
01. The First Banner in the Fields of Devil

"Their 14 song self-titled debut album heads straight for the adrenal gland focusing on melody coupled with passionate fury, combining blends of brutal riffs and punishing breakdowns with huge anthemic and driving melodies for an original sound that is all their own. Recorded in Hungary and mixed and mastered in Sweden by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Amon Amarth, God Forbid, Katatonia, Soilwork, Kreator), with artwork by Robert Borbas (Metallica, Suicide Silence, Bring Me The Horizon) and a guest appearance by Jeff Loomis (ex-Nevermore) on the track 'Six Feet Under.'
"Originally a solo project for its namesake Leander Köteles, but his first video for the song Bound To Belong created an internet buzz throughout Hungary and caught the attention of Attila Vörös, a young and well-known guitarist, who has also toured worldwide with Seattle metal band Nevermore, Attila reached out to Leander via e-mail and their collaboration began. In the beginning Attila only came on to do some guest solos but as time went on they found their true sound was together.
"While Attila was touring in the US with Nevermore, Leander decided to cover and put his spin on Lady Gaga's 'Bad Romance,' which became the most viewed and successful video in the project's history at that time, incorporating Hungarian Dances from Brahms, his version will be the special bonus track on the upcoming US release. "Antoine was with us since the beginning of the band. If you ever met him at a show you would know he was totally into music and always ready to do crazy stuff. After four years of touring he told us that he was tired and wanted to have a regular life. We completely understand that, from the bottom of our heart we wish him the best. He was there during the hard years and faced with us all the difficulties a band could encounter. Antoine we will miss you.
"As for Mark Mironov, we met him and his band My Autumn 3 years ago in belgium. We became friends, and 2 years later we toured together in Europe, went to russia, ukraine and shared some awesome times together, Mark is one of the best drummers we have ever met. When antoine told us he wanted to leave, we asked Mark. He said yes, left his country to live and play with us. "After enduring every shitstorm the proverbial 'universe' can throw at us for last few years, we are extremely excited to be releasing our new batch of burners on No Sleep Records," says guitarist Chris Brock. This week, Greyhaze Records is officially issuing the first North American release of "Decade Of Decay," one of the rarest albums within the legacy of Brazilian black/thrash overlords, Sarcofago.
In celebration of this classic release, for a limited time, the label is now streaming the album's massive 20 tracks, totaling over one hour and twelve minutes of crushing intensity, at this location.
The first release in a series of Sarcofago albums set for reissue via Greyhaze by way of Brazil's Cogumelo Records throughout 2012 and beyond, "Decade Of Decay" is available in a 6-panel/full color digipak CD, featuring a full-color fold-out poster with information on all of the songs. Initially released in 1995, official copies of "Decade Of Decay" were virtually impossible to find anywhere until this new Greyhaze-issued pressing.
This reissue of the compilation album includes bonus tracks officially available for the first time anywhere. The packaging features never-before-seen photos from Sarcofago throughout the band's various stages and the entire reissue process for this compilation album has been overseen by Sarcofago's Wagner "Antichrist" Lamounier himself.
Stay tuned for updates on the forthcoming limited-edition deluxe 2xLP version of "Decade Of Decay" to be announced in the weeks ahead, followed by details on more Sarcofago and other infamous Cogumelo Records releases to be issued stateside via Greyhaze.
Canada's As Autumn Calls has issued the following announcement about beginning the process of recording a new album:
"We will begin recording the new album as soon as next week. It's been a long time coming but it's finally going to happen.
"Unfortunately with that being said the release date has officially been pushed back to 2013. (Hopefully very early in the year).
"We are going to take the extra time to ensure that this is the best release we can possibly make. No compromises! We will keep everyone posted with the our progress."
