"Here a few words from Seb himself - As the new keyboard player for eyefear i feel extremely privileged to have been asked to come on board to replace the awesome sammy giaccotto whose previous work with the band has been phenomenal and whose shoes will be challenging to fill.
"But after many a rehearsal with the boys I'm sure we'll have a lot of fun and hopefully many more years to create the kind of music Eyefear have been recognized for over the last decade. Personally I'm looking forward to bringing a fresh element to the band and can only hope that you guys out there won't be disappointed.

This week's schedule was rhythm guitars, so I stepped into the picture together with Jonas and David to find a heavy distortion sound to fit Daniel's great drum production.
"We recently entered a brand new collaboration with with Laboga amplifiers from Poland and we endorse both their Mr Hector and Aligator models. Obivously, the entire Monday was spent fooling around with different configurations of mics, speakers and knob settings. We figured we'd wait until you're thoroughly sick of hearing about Michael Jackson's death before posting our own article. Inspired by Metalunderground.com reader Gorecunt's Facebook note, I've compiled a list of metal Michael Jackson covers from YouTube, some more serious than others. While Jacko really has nothing to do with metal, some of our readers may still have enjoyed his music. Please raise your hands to be banned (just kidding). As such, this is all purely for fun, regardless what you think of him. Eleven metal(ish) covers of Michael Jackson songs can be seen below (with a couple of bonuses as well), after the jump. More...

Moroccan rock/metal/grunge band LAZY WALL has released a new song, “Cold Enemy,” from their upcoming album “Apoptosia.”
Quoted from the band's MySpace:
“As the days near the necessary changes, unique codes lead us to experience different sounds and go through unexplored fields.
“Today, we are finally proud to announce the release of the first single from our upcoming debut full length album 'Apoptosia,' we are introducing to you all the final mixes of 'Cold Enemy.' Co-produced by the band and Anton Pukshansky, the album was recorded in Tangier, our hometown, then crossed half the globe to be mixed by Anton in his L.A. studios.
“In 'Cold Enemy' we oppressed our conformity, helping our experience grow into some sort of unending research, working with many musicians and instruments from different places to help widen our vision and recreate ourselves and ideas.
“This song will also be included in the EMI compilation 'Flowers In The Desert' that will be released soon.”
And for more info about the album:
“After 2 years of writing, playing, recording and experimenting with many great musicians, our new album 'Apoptosia' starts to reach the end of the tunnel!!
“Producer Anton Pukshansky is at the moment mixing and producing the final 5 tracks to complete the album. Anton is a 2 times Grammy award winner, one for Santana’s multi-platinum "Supernatural" album and who we had the great pleasure of sharing the stage during our 2 US shows.
“We also got our friend Mark Levine adding guitars on the songs with a touch of his unique sound. Mark has performed with Mick Jagger, Chuck D., Michael Franti, Dr. John and is also the author of 'Heavy Metal Islam: Rock, Resistance and the Soul of Islam,' and his bestseller, 'Why They Don’t Hate Us: Lifting the Veil on the Axis of Evil.' Mark joined us on stage first at L'Boulevard 08 and then for the SXSW festival in Austin and at the Joint in Los Angeles”.
You can check out some of Lazy Wall's music on their MySpace page.
